This has the feel of the Lambert season all over again!!! Brought in to try and improve things, but nothing changed one little bit, in fact, it gradually got worse, to the point you were just waiting for the inevitable to happen!!!

looks to be a poorer coach for this set of players than we had before.
The score line heavily flattered Sheffield United, but, more and more teams just get points from us almost without any effort required.

I can’t help but think the players like MON and his approach.
AN might have come in abit bullish and rubbed the players up the wrong way. It’s the only thing I can think of.

Lambert despite his deficiencies was quite a likeable bloke and I felt for him a bit. Neil on the other hand.....

If that's the case then f*ck them! Let them attend Chuck Norris' Daycare then. And before I go too far, I think your post is plausible btw: I'm (Not that YOU are asserting this) tired of all this "oh they just don't have the confidence" and things like that. Former managers letting them drift along out of match-fitness, making excuses for them etc. You bunch of sniveling lumps - you're supposed to be a "professional" ffs. Last I checked, the Championship sucks, but it's still a "professional" league - players aren't having to go hang drywall on the side. Confidence is part of the basic package - not a freaking aftermarket add-on! You're picking the check up, so step up. Or step out.

We had more shots on target than Sheff Utd and have deserved more than what we’ve got from the past few games. Don’t think the players have particularly downed tools under Neil. We are just a very poor side that needs major surgery as we’re the equivalent of an ACL injury right now. Just hope AN can bring in some loans to scrape us out!

Can’t remember a stand out save their keeper made, all straight at him whereby out keeper moved away from their shots.

Not the same.....Neils record is a lot better...I believe he will eventually get things improving Cant keep blaming managers......when you keep changing managers, it never settles and the manager doesnt have the players he wants......Neil is worth giving time.....a few windows

this is far worse than Lambert Much Much worse. I felt we had a chance of staying up right until the last game. And I still mainly enjoyed plenty of the matches

Neil's tenure is in its infancy and it's his first window with MON's squad
I wonder if players aren't performing because they're on their way out?
Give him the full season. If we're relegated so be it, the longest lasting revolutions don't happen overnight. We can build from the ground up

i can't believe how many people are saying relegation would be fine. to league one? have you actually lost the plot? we need this team to perform with effort regardless if they're fucked off or not since they're cashing Stoke City FC cheques each week.

It’s nuts. People were saying the same when premiership relegation was imminent. “We’ll go down to the pub league, smash the peasants for a year or, worst case, two…then come back to the prem refreshed”. We became the peasants.

We said that about going down from the PL. that’s going really well for us.

this is far worse than Lambert Agreed. Lambert did a reasonable job of reducing the goal conceded count. If Lambert could have made an already horrible strike force score a goal or two, we might have stayed up. This is free-fall. We can't defend. We rarely score. We struggle to win at home. We turn wins into draws and easy draws into losses. Relegation form. I've been saying it since November. Nothing has changed.
