The most obvious ones for me are Shawcross and Pennant followed by Moses. Another was Danny Pugh, thought he looked great during our promotion season.

Paul Gallagher on his first loan stint was pretty good as well.

I liked Bidace. Not saying we could have signed him permanently but would have liked to see him on loan again this season.
And yeah, Victor Moses was ace.

Hopefully there’s a clause in the Sterling deal that allows us to terminate the loan.
Chelsea won’t be stupid enough to terminate the loan when someone else is paying for him to spend every day in the treatment room.

Fosu will be next to go back He's stopped us3him despite decrying lack of wingers and despite the lack of creativity pace in the side As such he may as well go back Getting the feeling AN would get rid of most of the squad if he could

Always felt Warhurst was a vital player when we stayed up in 2003. He was overweight but was a good organiser and passer of the ball

Baker, looked to be the real deal when he came to Stoke. Right now I wouldn't mind seeing him gone, but hopefully he can find back to the form from last season again. He really was a class above for a short period but what has happened to him? I guess the manager has (mistakenly) tried to curb his attacking role for some reason known only to him!

Sterling impressed me when he came on. He just looks proper. Like in control and knows what he’s doing. Which isn’t a feeling I get from a lot of our players. But he’s done it consistently when he’s played. But obviously that hasn’t been often. Hopefully he can stay fit and push on.

Scored a vital goal in a home game too

May be a bit harsh tbf but I never class winning a corner as a good cross and really it shouldn't be most important aspect of his game anyway as he's not a winger.

But in some cases it’s usually the best scenario. Crossing has always been my favourite attribute when done well, I love watching it. I was in awe the other week watching Liverpool vs Wolves when Trent wipped that ball in for Nunez. Reminded me of Beckham / Ronaldo combo at Madrid. I miss the days we had proper wingers.
