If we'd drawn, say, Man City at home, do you think we'd get a bumper crowd as we would prior to promotion 20 years ago? Us actually being competitive against top teams is close enough in my memory for the idea of us being tonked at home by a PL team isn't a huge draw.

What are the odds on The Shit v Reading being on TV? It’s the ultimate test isn’t it really. If they are on for a home draw against Reading there is absolutely no game they would not get coverage for 😏

Might get close to a sellout depending on ticket prices? Villa will definitely sell out the away end.

I said before the draw started I’d like Aston Villa away because I’m in Birmingham that weekend and we go and get them at home 🤦♂️ It’s 40 miles mate, worth the (short) trip back maybe?

Might get close to a sellout depending on ticket prices? Villa will definitely sell out the away end. Since the return of crowds (post pandemic) our cup crowds have been woeful so let’s hope this one is priced correctly and we can have a decent crowd, there’s no reason why it can’t be.

Villa who will bring a massive following and beat comfortably beat us, can’t really seeing the home end being too full either with how shite we are at home. At least if it was away it would have been good day on the ale.

Can’t agree at all if it’s Villa coming to us.Our fans need to turn out and make it a cracking atmosphere and get the players up for it. Far too much negativity around the club/fans for me

I'd price the whole lot at 5 quid a ticket. Fill the ground, and show the management, team and a reminder to everyone what a bear pit can be like again on a regular basis

Not expecting us to win it (if villa) BUT a good performance could get fans back onside, and give the players a bit of confidence

At least if it was away it would have been good day on the ale. But villa could only bring the same massive following as say Wrexham, which is the whole of the south stand. Do what we and loads others do, have a good day on the ale when we're at home

The club could organize a standing boothen end for this game, and see how it would effect the atmosphere.

Villa sell out every away game & have thousands clambering to get tickets, I reckon they'll get 4.5k / 5k to distribute out. Got brother, inlaws & good mates who are Villa fans, I definitely won't be expecting anything from it, but anything positive would be a bonus! So long as Villa qualify through of course!
