As bad as it was yesterday and it was awful, if brown , campbell , delap and co had just put their foot through the ball , we would have had a goal or two
i am one of those parents , who had no choice but to watch his kids play under 9s , under 12 s etc
i have genuinely seen 8 year olds strike a size 3 ball harder than stoke's attackers yesterday and i regularly saw 11 year olds strike a size 5 match day ball harder than that, in every match
i remember watching my 11 year old son score a screamer from about 20 yards out, once
we can't seriously, expect to beat championship goalies, with shots an eleven year old , would be embarrassed by , in a kids game

Talking of kids football, can someone tell Tymon that he doesn't have to pass to his best mate every time he gets the ball and that he might want to practice with his right foot. As soon as he's shown inside he's fucked.

Perhaps they want to lose. From what ive seen we are totally hopeless, clueless and when a chance arises we do our best to miss.
This is a relegation team unless some drastic improvements or new signings happen

I see many players side footing the ball when shooting to try and score....absolute nonsense, the ball should be in contact with the laces to be hit powerfully. I also see lots of players hitting the ball wrongly when it is crossed from right or left just because they are one footed and need to get on their best foot. They should all be more or less two footed if they are pros and should be hitting wrong footed every training session. After a year or two they should be good with both feet.

Tymon cuts inside virtually every time. He normally does this right in front of me in the second half.
If a thick o like me recognises this I am sure our opposition have.
As for the opening post the bloke sitting behind me was shouting it all afternoon. Block16 ?

Some have only just worked out how to get their feet into a shoe.

If any of our useless forwards had any sense at all they'd move out left when Tymon is shown inside to the right. But they just stand there, dumbfounded.

As soon as he's shown inside he's fucked. And any defender who has watched 2 mins footage of him knows it well. He's a very limited footballer and sadly, still one of our best. But as said above, he's not helped by zero support from teammates.

There was an awful lot of attempted passes/shots using the outside of the boot yesterday that went woefully astray. Might be an idea to get the very basics right first

There's a time for putting your laces through it and a time for placement.
As is the way with this lot they usually get it the wrong way round!

I'd sign your 11 old, in a few years! 🤠⚽👍

Laurent put a quality ball into the box with the outside of his boot though. I think Delap’s effort to go around the keeper at 2 yards out annoyed me the most. Just put anything on that towards the goal & chances are you will score.

This is so true. The amount of ‘Shots’ this season that have gone about 2 miles an hour right to the keeper is mental. Just hit it hard and low in the corners, it isn’t hard ! They dally on the ball to much too, just hit the fucker .

When we do get a cross in our strikers look surprised and shocked 😮 and then try and deal with the ball landing unexpectedly near them, no wonder they tap it at the keeper they need more warning and time to prepare ….ffs …🤔

I'm wondering how much work the players do with the ball in training at the moment.
In the last two home games in particular, it seems to take an age for them to get the ball under control. Lots of heavy or wayward first touches and passes, with the ball often bouncing off shins.

Baffled at the lack of shooting ability from the strikers. Campbell is the only footballer I've ever seen who seems to be neither footed
