Currently we sitting 22nd out of 24 team for our home form, but 7th out of 24 team for our away form.
Makes me feel confident tomorrow.
Unfortunately Preston and Burnley sit 2nd and 3rd in the away table and we face them both after Rotherham.
Interesting fixtures ahead.

We just struggle to handle it. Without the crowd loud and behind them all game it's the same most home games

It’s not like from minute one we’re on their backs or anything. The crowd have been far too nice these last god know how many years. The atmosphere is flat but for good reason but it’s not one that isn’t conducive to playing well.

When things aren't going great, the players know it won't take much for the moans and groans. Away from home they can probably relax and play a bit more. If a pass goes wayward you won't have four stands on at you Any other reason for it?

The crowd has been fine considering the length of being utterly toss in general and at home. We can’t break teams down who set up for a point and that’s it really. A lack of tactical nous and a general plan on how to play when a team leaves no space.

We struggle when we have the ball.
The players aren't good enough to pass their way through the opposition, so we have to go direct. The problem is we've not got enough physicality up front to hold the ball up or win flick ons etc, so we end up getting nowhere.
On the break, however, we do have a bit of speed with Brown and Campbell so can hit teams on the counter.
Basically we need a younger version of Fletcher. He masked a lot of these problems as he could win a few of our aimless punts up the pitch. Delap does nothing other than foul people, while Gayle, Brown and Campbell aren't suited to winning long balls, but are OK playing off someone who can win them.

The thing is to be a good and successful counter attacking side you have to make the right decisions in the final third ,pick the right pass at the right times. We are generally appalling in that department irrespective who is out there and fuck up so many promising situations you'd be forgiven for thinking it was deliberate!

There’s probably less if anything? Apathy rules. And yeah it’s not a buzzing atmosphere but it’s not an angsty one until we start losing and we start losing because we’re abject at football.

If it's the crowd's fault presumably we were flying during the full lockdown season then?
