Play him with the boot on, couldn't do any worse. 😁

a daft signing
you can see the possibility of jags adding a bit of composure to the back line , in carefully selected games , ie not v absolute speed merchants such as watford's Sarr
but to sign a speed merchant like dwight gayle or micheal owen after their legs have gone , and they no longer have that killer acceleration is daft .
both good players ( better than good in Owen's case ) in their day , but pointless signings when their pace has deserted them

He's a good striker for the youth players to learn from. Definitely not the biggest reason for signing him, but that's where we will get value now.

We would see the best of him if we a) played through balls or b) had a striker to win flick ons. He’s still quick enough to do well in this league, but he plays off the shoulder and we don’t play football in a way that suits him.

Well worth 20 grand a week when we’re fucked by FFP.

Always been a good striker but this manager has no plan how to play him!

He's maintained his goal record whilst he's been out, which is amazing, really 👊
