I wouldn’t be shocked if a Premier League team came in for Bursik, an English homegrown player as 3rd choice that they probably feel they could coach more out of him……. Possible, but I'd be a bit surprised. Presumably he'd still have to be loaned out to the lower leagues at that point to get game time. Just think he's too far off for Prem teams to even see him as a long-term project at this stage. Seems fanciful to think anyone would pay a fee of any substance for him, so hard to really see him as an asset whose value we'd be protecting It's going to be interesting to see how his career pans out from here. I think everything between that and us just releasing him this summer are in-play. If you're behind Jack Bonham after approaching 100 games, you do seem a fair way off any Prem radars. I'd take the gamble and extend it, then send him out on loan until the summer. I can see a Prem club spending a couple million on him as a punt next summer.

I’m mindful Bonham has played only half as many games there than Bursik, so come the new year his figures could improve, or be as bad, or worse than Bursik. The bottom line is you can’t concede at least a goal every game or four goals over three games and expect to do well, especially when you are hardly setting the other end of the pitch on fire.

I don’t know, but Iversen was the best goalkeeper I saw in the championship last season when he was on loan at Preston. Ward has done excellently for my fpl side for what it’s worth. Quite a few clean sheets and lots of save points recently. Had heard he had picked up after a dodgy start.
