RAW for me. Though to be honest I didn’t get to see a lot of it as when I was really into wrestling RAW was on skysports and my parents couldn’t afford Sky. My grandparents had skyone though so I went round every Saturday 11am for SmackDown and there were always Raw recaps. I didn’t know a lot about WCW until I stopped watching it weekly and YouTube became easier to use when internet connections improved. Now, as this is a wrestling thread I’ve got to ask, am I the only one who didn’t rate and can’t stand Ric Flair? He seems to be an absolute legend amongst wrestling fans but I just never got it. He was shite when he came back to WWE and embarrassingly shite these last few years. Always had something of a Jimmy Saville about him too. Think Flair’s 80s stuff is amazing and his promos even in the 90s are tremendous. No denying he’s a sad act these days though. Keep meaning to watch the ESPN 30 for 30 doc on him. Agree with this, Naitch was ace. Don't get me wrong he should have retired many, many, many years ago, but his work in the 80/90's, especially in the Horsemen was brilliant... And his 92 Rumble win is one of the greatest matches of all time. (Helped by Bobby's fantastic heel commentary!)

Loved 92 where he had Perfect as his assistant, winning the rumble and the Elizabeth storyline culminating in Wrestlemania 8 then Perfect turning on him and the Brain. Classic days

Looking forward to the next wrestlemania, I imagine it culminates in Sami and Owens winning the unified tag belts from The Usos, and Roman beating The Rock, ending the bloodline story with just Roman and Heyman left (maybe Sikoa too). I’m a bit bored of the storyline now after 2 years tbh. And I doubt Roman will be working there that much longer as well if he wants to get into Hollywood like Rock did.
Some talk of Austin being so happy with how his match this year went that he’s up for Wrestlemania again, and WWE at least looking at trying to work something out with him. He’s looking even fitter and healthier than he was at the match as well so I’d definitely be up for it.
Gunther looks unstoppable atm and could make for an interesting IC match on the show, Sheamus again?
I imagine they’ll book Charlotte Flair to win the belt off of Ronda as well, because the women’s title scene is just boring, they repeat the same old stuff over and over again.

Yeah think those matches will all happen, think they’re building to Ronda/Becky though. Not sure what happens with Cody, does he face Seth then beat Roman at Summerslam?

Wonder if they try another triple threat? And hopefully a less botched ending.
I think it's a tricky one now for Cody, especially with the injury happening. I can see Cody showing up at the Rumble and doing the classic point at the sign thing they all seem to do now, but who against, I really don't know. The Seth match at Hell in a Cell was seen as the third and final match, but I also can't think of someone else who he can be booked against.
Summerslam gives Roman three more months of being champion, and IMO I think that's plenty after he beats The Rock. Cements his position as head of the table, and wouldn't be surprised to see a post Wrestlemania call up like Bron Breakker challenge him in the gap between Summerslam.
So could have a card over 2 nights (in no particular order mind)
Roman v Rock, Gunther v Sheamus, Ronda v Becky (Charlotte triple threat?), Judgment Day (Balor and Priest) v The OC, Austin v Corbin (I think he's the most like opponent), Alexa + Asuka v Damage CTRL, I imagine Rhea gets a match, Dominick vs Rey (or Bad Bunny according to what I've read?).
Then I'd guess at maybe Theory vs Lashley for the U.S belt, and then you have wildcards like Pat McAfee and Lesnar who I think will also get matches.

Think you’ve pretty much called it there. I could see it being Bianca against Rhea, Brock against Lashley in the rubber match, and think (hope) they’ve got someone better than Corbin planned for Austin. Could they be waiting to see what happens with Punk there?

I can’t see Reigns getting into Hollywood. He just doesn’t have the charisma. I’m actually hoping that Cody wins it at WM, and not the Rock. Maybe they can work an angle that the winner of the Rumble can only challenge for “one belt”? I’m hoping Gunther will get a fresh challenge for WM. Maybe Sikoa will go for it and be the only one to win on the night? The only thing that tires me out with the Bloodline now Zayn has rejuvenated it is that it forces everyone else down the list. Reigns should have never taken both titles. That was an awful decision. Too many upper mid-card wrestlers have no obvious direction because of that.

I was more Grandstand. Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Rollerball Rocco, Mick Mcmanus. Can anyone remember Adrian Street. One of my favourite “Wait….what” moments. Band had been together a couple of years, band house etc etc. So you think you know someone. Guitarist is saying something one day and it was ‘What do you mean, your uncles on telly alot’ And as smooth as you like, with no hint of artifice, he said ’Yeah, he’s Kendo Nagasaki’

this story was always amazing and led too this epic match
proper long term story telling that started with Austin being run over (knee surgery) Rikishi turning heel and getting a main event push, Rock and Angle in the prime and of course American Bad Ass Undertaker! amazing times

I actually went to the Viccy Hall with my dad to watch Big Daddy against that American, can't remember his name, who was the baddy!
It was an absolute pisser, old women poking them with umbrellas and the like!

Looks like Sasha Banks is done with WWE thanks to good old Vince, and she’s heading to Tokyo Dome. Amazing mismanagement of one of the women who spearheaded the modern women’s wrestling revolution at WWE. She’s also someone who they think is ‘Hollywood ready’ so I personally think she’ll never go back to WWE.
For all the good Vince did, he knew how to make a fuck up, particularly these past few years or so. I’ll give him the Thunderdome during covid though, what an excellent idea that was.

Is Sasha really a loss? Her mic skills were below average, she seemed to be in a race with Nia Jax to see who could injure the most opponents, and apparently she was a bit of a dick backstage... But she flopped around a lot so the IWC loved her.

Suspect she's just playing a strong hand right now and she'll be back by the Rumble.

When Reigns loses the title, he will need to take a long time off, so if he is going to do that, it needs to be to promote someone new and build for the future. The Rock will run a sporadic, fun programme, but then what? He’s not coming back, he was only there for 6 years and he is now working into a big role of the extended DC universe. He’d be a part-time, awful Champion. If anything, they should get an angle where the Rock costs Reigns the titles and then they fight it out for control of the Family. They don’t need a title involved. Reigns’ control of both titles is so detrimental to all of the upper mid-card, who now have little to challenge for. The sooner they are broken apart again, the better.
