I don't understand why you are so obsessed with what the media and pundits are saying? What difference does it make? Because I have listened to it all week in the build up. A load of shite basically. Bigging teams up that we should be turning over. Plus people on here have believed it as well. You just end up looking silly. They will put France on another planet to us you watch. I prefer media and pundits to tell the truth. Not something you usually get They will put France on another planet. No. They won't. Virtually without exception they will continue to say that: France are a very good team; so are England; it will probably be very close; it will be very difficult; and that England can win. Personally I think France will win. But at this stage, games often turn on tiny margins/decisions/bits of genius/mistakes. So it wouldn't remotely surprise me if I was wrong.

So nobody was in Sterlings home thank goodness no threats so a straight forward high value burglary albeit as with all victims of these crimes me included its so upsetting. So the media chatting shit again. No one was in when the burglary happened and no evidence of whether they were armed or not particularly with a firearm. That's not to say it wasn't a terrible ordeal for all concerned but nowhere near as horrific as the media initially reported it. I'm glad they are to be honest but yes it appears so it's a common mistake plenty make regarding being "robbed" and unfortunately the media are just as guilty of getting it wrong.

I agree mate 'robbed' and 'burgled' are commonly mixed up but yesterday the media reported that his family were at home and had been the subject of an armed robbery. Both of those important pieces of information were in fact incorrect/made up but it didn't stop the media reporting them as fact.

Absolutely using drama to create headlines is so distasteful but it doesn't surprise me. What they forget is that there is a young family involved and they can't even get the basic details right. The simple fact is "armed robbery" is a better headline than "empty home burgled" 🤷♂️
