Why anyone would go here when you can get a better pint in The Suth for half the price is beyond me I'd rather be teetotal than drink Carling I'll never bother the place, but it doesn't sound very progressive. Another opportunity missed? Local breweries supplying the ale? Decent quality food? Doesn't sound like it. Why not get Titanic involved? No thought gone into it just like any other aspect of this rotten club

Rather than the Britain’s top selling beer (and Staffordshire brewed) Carling? Eng-er-land runs on Carling (and Cocaine obvs).

Reading on twitter that anyone without a membership was knocked back last night. Is this the case you need to be a member to get in?! Member or season ticket holder I believe I got in with a one off match ticket.

I went in pre Burnley.
Got there at around 6.30, was busy but not rammed, beer was excellent, I had Hobgoblin gold in some funky glass that was lovely. Queue at the bar was annoying
It never got rammed due to a 1 in 1 out process, my thoughts are it's worth taking a look but get there early. It is season tickets only and I'm sure it's wheelchair friendly too.
Beer was 4.80 but most beers are 4 quid so I didn't think it was too bad
Give it a whirl I say, it's decent

I live in London and come to about one home game a year, I don't even have a Stoke City card thing, I use paper tickets usually. Bloke on the door said from Monday it'll be £3 entry. My feeling is they really need staff right now, there were a few on bar (really nice folk) that'd clearly not done a shift before, probably never worked bar before and certainly hadn't been trained. Hobgoblin in a really nice branded glass, fuck all seats but that is just so they can get people in. I'd honestly just make signs saying all seating are for disabled/elderly people personally but Went to Bauhinia first for food and it's the best it's been for a while (and busiest) new ownership?

Yes, they certainly could have done with more bar staff. There us around 5 or 6 stations and 1 staff members mans a station, trouble is there was always 7 or 8 waiting at each station It never ceases to amaze me why they don't hire more staff for the 2 and half hours prior to the game, they could even pay double time for this period and it will pay in extra revenue I'm sure

Titanic may be brewed in Burslem but half their pubs are clearly in Stoke City 'territory' (Stoke town. Newcastle, Stone). It's a local brewery and significantly more enjoyable than Carling.
