Lots of mentions on here that the squad is better that others in the division and its underperforming. Made me think do we need a catalyst signing. That one signing that brings it all together and speeds up a reaction. Or as others have said do we just ditch the lot and start over? Tymon coming back could be that sort of catalyst without making a signing espescially combined with Powell replacing Smallbone in the team. We need to create more chances. Tymon? Seriously?

I thought changing the manager was the catalyst? 'We only need a decent manager to propel us up the table' What's gone wrong? We've all realised the players are shit. We need more than a catalyst signing. We need a new team. This lot are wank and will ruin your weekend time and time again

His success at Norwich and Sunderland could be put down to getting a lot more out of a good group than the previous manager at each club. If we're saying the players are shit here then we could be in for a long old ride. Genuinely not sure what to make of it myself.

One of my friends is the accountant of a player who played under AN at Norwich. The view of this player (won't say who he is) is that AN is good at making an early impression with players but over time they get tired of his bollockings / hard line approach. This may concur with the comment above regarding getting steadily worse over a period of time.

Great leaders maintain their hold for longer periods but eventually their influence fades. The one way a leader can lengthen their reign is by changing personnel.

Seriously. In terms of creating scoring opportunities he's head and shoulders above anyone else we might play at full back. In comparison to Fox he's like a young Ronaldo. You'd play him on the left of a back 4 and go more defensive on the right with either Sterling or Clarke it's pretty much what we've been doing but the opposite way around. A good game for Fox is not making any mistakes he rarely contributes anything to our play.
