Wow a midfielder on the dot. GOAL. Pity Gayle couldn't figure that fucking out.

I have to admit I’m a bit weary of this club. When will anything improve ??? Didn't even bother with a stream or Radio Stoke. Watched the rugby and had a quick read of this thread. I'm numb to this shit now That's me as well, I'm almost done with football, I'm only hanging on by my finger nails because of Stoke, and because of them, I'm literally down to my last pinky!!!

Serious bout of bad luck and all the poor performances happening at once today. Fix the midfield and get anyone performing in the number 9 spot and we'll get results IMO. Midfield is key to any team and ours is horrific. How do we fix it? Thompson for Laurent and time for Neil to show he can man manage? It's looking grim this. But I don't think it needs many tweaks to fix if the lads' attitude stays solid.

They're just shit players. No matter what tactic or plan you have they're not capable of winning a one ticket lottery.

Other than Bury, has there been a more depressing and less rewarding team to support in professional English football in the last seven years than us? Oldham They'll be back in the league and beating us on penalties in the Carabao Cup before you can say Andy Ritchie

Harry back, Tymon back and Sterling and we revert yet again to 3-5-2!!! Can’t be any worse and it gets Fox out of the bloody team.

Clarke kinda showed what we're about, passed his man, loads of space, takes too long and loses it 🙄

Dreadful team of ( mostly ) complete bottle merchants I'm afraid who can't deal with any kind of setback.
At least we've scored a goal though.
I almost didn't notice.
Shame he couldn't have buried the header at 1-0.

Wigan is massive isn’t it? If we somehow lost that, wow, Saturday could get intense. It really. I think we could realistically lose the next 6. Then win 2 and still not be in the relegation places. You will need to be really really really bad to get relegated from this league. Watch this space. We are really really really bad.

Basic shit. Positioning, parry's, tackles, lack of movement and lack of dribbling. Every week same shit.

At 1-0 Powell misses a sitter an absolute fu####g sitter that would have changed this ,not to mention on first glance the penalty shout on Fosu Was never a penalty. They showed the replay towards the end of the game... It was 100% a penalty

But I don't think it needs many tweaks to fix if the lads' attitude stays solid. Needs a lot more than tweaks as it stands, we're desperate for Souttar and Tymon and that isn't enough imo. MON made such a mess of the squad.

Need an experienced keeper who can come in. To be so young and lose your dad is awful. He may feel that he needs to play but loss hits you hard a few weeks after the event and even if this hadn't happened, an experienced goalie who can organise the defence in front of him and see the game in front of him is worth their weight in gold. Also, to me, Josh Tymon is a huge miss. Any news on him? Confidence will return the moment we get our sh!t together which I still believe we will. It's frustrating but we can't get on the Manager's back. Once he sends them out there it's on them and the more we get on their backs the less chance of their confidence returning. It's tough times but it's still an odd table. A few wins could turn it all around. We've been here before all too often but we'll just have to ride the storm, stick with them and drag 'em back up. We can do it.

Again though we've had 17 attempts on goal.
AN needs to have the fuckers in tomorrow shooting continuously at an empty net for 8 hours solid.

They showed the replay towards the end of the game... It was 100% a penalty I stand corrected then, I never seen the reply. Was it the challenge on the left side just inside the 18 after gayle fed the ball through I think? I only seen the second half so could have missed it.

We just roll over so easily when we go a goal down. Very poor fayre. Midfield is the biggest problem. Laurent looks uninterested. Baker out of form plus not sure the tactics suit his game, Smallbone contributes zero either offensively or defensively. Keeper. Makes the odd decent save but doesn’t inspire confidence and I think that impacts on the defence. I’d put the 2nd goal down to him as the ball went under him, 1st needed a stronger hand. 3rd was a good save. Defence. Is an odd one as I don’t think they’re that bad but they’re conceding. We’ll be better for having Harry back and Tymon and Sterling. Strikers. Need better service but they’re underperforming. They don’t seem to ever get that many goal scoring opportunities. Largely agree apart from the defence being bad, some of the goals we’re conceding are schoolboy stuff. The midfield is neither good enough at breaking up the play nor contributing offensively and it’s very worrying. None of them look like they can get stuck in consistently and do the dirty work. They’re all trying to do a bit of everything and failing miserably.

Wasn't able to watch today but knew what would happen. A disgraceful record when conceding first. Shows a lack of character and bottle. Been missing from the club for years now. Until they have players with some backbone it doesn't matter whether they have ability or not.

Any reasonable Stoke fan and probably Norwich fan would admit that 3-1 wasn't a fair reflection on the match. Moments and goals often change matches, today was exactly that, Fosu should have had a penalty and Powell should have buried his header, both crucial moments in the game. Norwich get a second and their confidence soars and the game opens up, which suits them..the results aren't going our way, but we are nowhere near a bottom 3 side..that said, we need to arrest the slide soon.

I can't even say we played that badly it was just the same old issues and I honestly don't know the answer.
Powell misses a sitter at 1-0 ,we should have had a penalty ,they go up and score the 2nd and just like Watford and Coventry our heads completely go.

We are powder puff up front with no nouse or guile whatsoever. We really never look like scoring. There is too much to me to you 5 yarders and backwards when in forward positions. Slow and cumbersome from front to back. Opposition players always able to find acres of space between our lines because the midfield is not picking them up. AN really has a mountain to climb with this group.

They’re all trying to do a bit of everything and failing miserably. Spot on re the midfield they need sorting out and be given specific jobs / roles. Laurent and Baker I thought would be a dream ticket but both have been awful the last 3 games. Smallbone had a decent spell at the start of the 2nd half but on the whole offers nothing. Thompson and Powell both need to start next game. In respect to today thought Clarke and Fosu did OK but that’s about it.
