I absolutely love Gayle, works his fucking bollocks off and seems such a positive presence on (and I presume off)the field. I don’t know what he was saying to Fosu but I presume it was encouraging and was great to see.

Gayle is such a strange one for me, because before I watched him every week I always thought of him as a bit of a poacher, scores the goals but doesn't really do too much else. (not that there's anything wrong with that)
But he's an absolute pest, and the sort of player you'd hate to come up against. Possibly the hardest working player in the team and clearly taken a mentoring/leadership role within the group as well.
He's been excellent.

Another one I caught, from the telly, was a really nice move concluding with a wayward shot, that, in times gone recent by, would have been given a shrug or a shake of the head. Today I saw more of a ‘we can do better’ Love it.

I think once he scores his first goal many more will come. It's great that people appreciate his work even though he's not scoring. One of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Shame he couldn't score in a brothel though. Doesn’t need to score when he is creating space for everyone around him.. he’s an absolute nightmare to play against, and a pleasure to watch his movement which we haven’t seen in a long time

Not sure he's creating space for anyone. I can see why you might think that, but I genuinely think he’s been a step in front of our players with his runs, that they don’t get seen or no one attempts to play the ball to him, instead he’s had to resort to chasing down punts upfield.. but for me his movement, regardless of wether our midfield play the ball to him, has been a big factor for us scoring the goals we have recently.

Gayle is good but he is a different player to a few years ago. I like him, gets involved all over the pitch and the goals will come. I must admit i wasn't that impressed with Fosu but the last couple of games he has played really well and looked a real danger.

He should have buried the header and there’s no way prime Gayle doesn’t score that one on one in the first half. His legs have gone.

Rubbish re the header Chance first half was down to a poor touch As he demonstrates in every single game your assertion that his 'legs have gone' is even less believable than Kwasi's assertion that he was going nowhere I'm beyond embarrassed by your drivel here

He’s there a yard behind he was and it means he doesn’t have the time to finish them.

Intelligent player, as much as I love Delaps enthusiasm, with Gayle central, we retain possession so much better and therefore up the pitch more often and less transition.

Thing is anyone with an eye for a good footballer recognises Gayle is a good footballer with a record to prove it and whereas you have absolutely no eye for what makes a good footballer and a record to prove it that. Believe it or not young does not necessarily mean good and Gayle is more than we worthy of his place in the team. Top pro

Shame he couldn't score in a brothel though. Harsh bayern, I think he is getting into the right positions and was really unlucky with that header second half.
