We've pretty much got every disgraceful stat going covered over the last 5 years to be fair, so that one comes as no surprise.

No goal threat and no danger of keeping a clean sheet. Not a great look, is it?

No goal threat and no danger of keeping a clean sheet. Not a great look, is it? To add to it, before today, Watford had won once in 9 away from home and conceded only 1 clean sheet in their last 11 games

We are in a special period of our history - never has such a well funded side been so abysmal (consistently) .

Watford's first away win of the season... First clean sheet of the season... Didn’t realise they hadn’t kept a clean sheet, I’d have bet on that as well. Got Davis, Sarr and the Watford win.

Given the resources thrown at the team, I would say pound for pound we are worse than the Brian Little and Alan Ball eras.

Surely that comes down to the desire in the players? After the 2nd went in today we saw the mentality of this bunch in the last half hour

That's an absolutely disgraceful stat. Gutless personified. Add to that our record in London and the last time we scored a last minute/injury time winner was the Christmas before COVID.

I was referring to the overall money spent since relegation, I probably didn't make that clear. most of that money spent (very badly primarily by Rowett) has since left the club though Ball actually was given pretty decent money to spend relative to the market at the time £250k each on Ellis & Kennedy > good money that fees for Blake Sandford & Kevan+Barnes too some of those players ended up being good signings once Macari got hold of them Littles signings we're horrific but he had buttons to be fair

As I consider further up, this damning statistic looks a little worse than it’s mirror (our record when we score first) but not spectacularly so, indicating that most teams we play who concede first to us, lose. It just shows what we all know to be true in this league, the first goal matters. The standard is crap, you go out and score then try not to make an error. Other teams are crap and don’t “carve you open”, so you end up either knicking another one or hanging on more often than not. It seems that we are slightly less good at holding the lead and less good at regaining it. This isn’t exactly shocking news given where we have finished over the years.

Who did we come from behind to beat? Must have been quite a day! Huddersfield? Even then it was a comedy own goal, albeit from a killer ball from Mario Vrancic that turned out to be the winner We are beyond gutless, the way they just gave up yesterday was frightening - theres a good 4 or 5 I don't want to see in a Stoke shirt again, and what makes it worse is that some of these mercenaries are keeping our kids out of the side - eg. Fox over Taylor, Fosu over DWP.
