So that would mean that if everyone was fully fit we’d have to leave one loanee out of the matchday squad. I get the impression Neil doesn’t much fancy Kilkenny. Based on what? Picking Clucas over him.

Whilst it’s good addition he’s either thinking of Clarke at CB or one is going back. My guess he's going back also. Also as well as who, have I missed something?

Too small lacks physicality, we shouldn’t have signed him.

We need squad space. We have far too many similar midfielders. Two need to go to be replaced by midfielders who are physically strong and are good at stopping the opposition. The obvious two to go are the loanees. It is simple common sense. Or sell Thompson and Clucas? Who is going to buy Clucas? Excellent solution but improbable. Sorry, Smallbone and Kilkenny should both leave today.

Sterling and Tymon........... Bit one-dimensional. You need some creativity from the middle as well. I don’t think we do. You saw glimpses of the future last night with long balls from the back, greater concentration on offensive set pieces and an effective press. Excellent stuff! Creativity isn’t really AN’s thing is it?

So who is going to provide any creativity if Powell gets injured again? Sterling and Tymon........... Completely depends on the formation doesn’t it, 433 isn’t a natural shape for a Powell type player but we’d have to shoehorn him if that’s how Neil wants to set up not convinced he will. A pretty narrow workmanlike 3 in CM is more natural and threat from the FB’s as you say.

If it's true he is versatile and can play anywhere across the back line then this can only be a good signing. Welcome to the squad Sterling

Fair play mate, that is hot off the press news. What would we do without you! Where does that leave Fosu and Clarke when he’s fit? I think it's a good bet that we won't be seeing Clarke again

Creativity isn’t really AN’s thing is it? His Preston team played plenty of good stuff, as did his Norwich side. Sorry, I know that must be disappointing to read.

Are we allowed to terminate loans as and when we please or does there have to be a factor ? I.e. an injury?

Seems more of a right wing-back type. Very fast I think Dunno where this leaves Clarke when he's back? Centre half maybe 🤔 I don’t know
