IMHO. Due to potential high number of incomings/outgoings both Bonham and Fox will be offered contracts but will be advised that they will be no more than squad players and playing time will be limited. It’ll be up to them to agree or decide to move on And that's massively worrying as they are both shit

There’s a massive blind spot with keepers on this board. I know, you thought Bursik was good and the makeshift keeper who has saved our crap defense countless times this season was worthless. Carry on. I wanted Bursik replaced.

Fox was our best defender on the day, won most of his headers, intercepted at least 3 or 4 potentially dangerous through balls and generally looked composed, he's not the greatest by any means, but he's a competent squad player for next season.

I'm not against Fox signing a new deal, purely because of the sheer number of players we need to sign and people say we can sign better but we need a starter and then a back up who can cover the positions he can, who's to say the back up would be any better than Fox? and why would anyone come to be just a back up.
If however he was to start more than 10 games next season, I'd imagine we'll still be mid to mid lower in the table.

It’ll be up to them to agree or decide to move on Not very motivational to tell them they will only be back up whatever. I agree they will be offered extensions along with Powell I think but told, as is already public knowledge, that there will be a lot of incomings and they will improve the quality of the squad and we will not be happy with midtable performances because we expect to be in the playoffs and get promoted. It is up to them then whether they have the confidence that they can raise their game and be part of a promotion bid or would prefer to be somewhere where they will be in their comfort zone. You don't get the best out of players by telling them they are not good enough.

Fox covers 2 positions at CB and left-back so would definitely keep him as back-up.
Bonham if hes not on a lot of money is ok to keep as 2nd choice keeper.
Powell has been shit this season, but if he stays on lower wages thats also good for us.
With so many new players needed, there will be a lot of signing-fees even if not huge transfer fees.
Im not sure we have as much wiggle-room on FFP as some people are believing. We cant afford to replace a whole squad money-wise.

We will most likely need 5 loan signings so we can play them all at the same time, unlike this season, get a few decent lower league players in on better wages that they are currently getting, plus spend decent money, depending on FFP, on a striker, Winger, a centre half & a Goalkeeper.

Along with Baker, Clucas, Gayle, Jags, Thompson. Cull the fuckers
