I've gone completely off football at the highest level in the last couple of years,, but the Cup is still special. When we got to the quarters again in 2012 (did we lose in the Quarters to Chelsea in 2010 as well?) I almost took our progress for granted. It seems a long way away now.
Please not one thread for the entire FA Cup, though...

The tie of the round is surely Ossett v Whitchurch Alport A real chance for a bit of giant killing

I like the FA Cup matches as sometimes the draw pitches you against a team from a different league. Ossett are one level above in the Northern Premier East. So a tough one

If Hanley can win another 7 games they will be in the 3rd round draw with Stoke! They’d be completely unable to cope with 5 at the back , better they follow our carabo example and to quote the manager enable themselves some breathing space for the league

Tough game that for Newcastle as Stafford have made a strong start in the Division above them. Tough draw for Hanley at Stourbridge too, though they have not won a game in their Division yet. Be interesting to see which game the BBC go for with the live coverage. It's going to be a Northern/Midlands game this time for sure. My guess is that they will go for Bury v North Shields

Tomorrow at 3PM sees : -
Nantwich Town v Congleton Town

West Didsbury & Chorlton v Macclesfield has sold out for tomorrow (not hard as a local derby and about 1200 capacity) but still a very good crowd for that level of competition
