It's been a packed season of Athletics with World Championships, Commonwealth Games and European Championships. Really enjoyable.
Its been wonderful to see some great performances from British athletes esp. Jake Wightman, Marc Hudson-Smith and Keely Hodgkinson, doing well in the relays and there is some real talent in the GB squad.
High quality BBC coverage too

Speaking as someone who despises the BBC, I must agree that their coverage of those events has been very good (although there does seem to have been a slight over balance of women presenters).

Hudson-Smith.
What a man.
We need to get him up to Stoke at some time.
This fella has to be(come) a Potter.

Cram, Blackley, Colin Jackson and Michael Johnson are also top drawer commentators

And commentators do seem to be fairly evenly balanced, as do the studio guests. It was the presenters who I singled out.

Our local lass, Jasmine Sawyers, did brilliantly last night in the Long-jump to take the bronze medal. I know her personally and she's an absolutely lovely lass. I had tears in my eyes watching her celebrate. Because of injuries it was her first medal in 6 years in an international major event. She came 4th in the Commonwealth, missing out on a medal by only 6cm, so I was over the moon that, at last, she's been rewarded for her continued dedication. Well done Jaz!
OS.

Didn't realise she was from Stoke....brilliant!...that was a great effort and they were commentating on how popular she is in the team. Dedication levels of these athletes is really inspiring I find.

Even better pulling it out in the final round! Great effort
