For how long has Souttar been injured. Will he really return within a couple of weeks?
I think he's our best defender. With him and Powell 100% ready, we might push for a promotion spot.

If I was a Stoke physio I would be recommending Souttar stay in rehabilitating training until the WC is well under way.
I know some don’t agree.

When fit :
Bursik
Clarke Souttar Wilmot
Sterling Tynon
Laurent Baker
Powell
Gayle Delap
Can’t see much past that team. Good competition up front. Not much in defence or midfield. Sure Ben Pearson will be on Neil’s loan list in New Year if getting no game time at Bournemouth.

They need to start looking at the medical side of the club can’t all be bad luck Under conditioned? Could be right. Surely Sterling and Clarke must be due to return v Watford and the loan lad from Bournemouth.

Can't be a good situation that can it?

Tymon was clearly not ready at hull and as stated at the time it’s going to cost us a few weeks

anyone get the feeling Tymon is going to be the key player that misses large parts of the season this time.
Hilariously he's the one player we have no adequate cover for too.

We have a squad comprised of the worlds most fragile men.
I got to 42 playing several different sports including football, squash, cricket and skiing before missing a single game of anything with injury.
It's quite extraordinary.

Were you playing walking football? I finished at 35 with dodgy ankles and knees, and that was playing on a Sunday and "training" for an hour in the week.

I got to 42 playing several different sports including football, squash, cricket and skiing before missing a single game of anything with injury. It's quite extraordinary. I was fairly lucky I think - I played football from aged 12 (LadsanDads) until I retired at 36 to run kids football, I think I can count less than 20 the number of games I missed (although I played strapped/taped up a lot!) Longest time out was a hamstring tear for about 6-7 weeks (weather meant I didnt miss to many games thankfully!), lots of ligament soft tissue injuries that I simply patched up with support bandages and played the next week, a broken nose (scoring a header!), I tore my groin at the end of a season once so didnt miss any football! Fairly sure I had a fractured ankle in my last season but played on anyway for weeks with strapping and painkillers, even went in goals for 4 games as we had no players, but tbh I think my body said 'enough' at that point! Cricket on the other hand - broken thumb (hit a pro for 4, next ball was at my throat and got caught 20 yards away off my thumb!), fingers (was a wicket keeper so par for the course), broken toe! I've started running this year, I thought my football injuries (ankles/knees) would be a problem but its been pretty good so far - 114 runs, over 350 miles (Cto5k type nonsense, anything from 2-4.5 miles so far), shed about 2 stone!

Tymon was injured for large parts of last season but we either patched him up to keep playing or pumped him full of painkillers every game..either way I think its caught up with him this season.

Seriously getting pissed off with Powell now if this is true....his legs should be sponsored by Autoglass!!! 😠
What's the point in having a player (as good as he may well be) if he's only going to be starting roughly about 10 games a season!!!
