That's rubbish. It's a piece of football heritage Seriously! Missed it this week because i was on the way back from the game but away games I quite enjoying sitting there with a cup of tea listening to the scores. Very sad is that

That's a shame as I still think it has a place on the radio, even without the fact that not everyone has Internet access.

if they are under time constraints why don't they drop the lower league Scottish results

if they are under time constraints why don't they drop the lower league Scottish results Why should they as people in Scotland listen to 5 live also It’s another smack in the teeth and you mark my words in another few years it’ll be called “Premiership Saturday” round up where the whole programme is taking about that league but in reality 6 teams And we all just sit back and accept it by tuning in Not me though as with Talk Sport I binned them years ago

Thing is the classified is one fleeting moment when everyone is mentioned. Boreham Woods result gets the same respect as Arsenal's. Cove Rangers the same as Celtic. That's all gone now. 😟

Seems a really pointless thing to change, considering it only takes up about 5 to 10 minutes airtime. What are they doing instead? Why is someone always looking to change something?

Because everything other than the premiership is becoming irrelevant in their eyes so they cater for the masses rather than football fans People just accept this shit though

Its the same with TS
They could be talking to the world bowls champion but have found out they support Chelsea so they’ll give the bowls 2 minutes because they’ll be itching to ask the persons views on Chelsea’s premiership challenge because that’s ultimately all they interested in
It’s utter bollocks and SSN is the same

I think it's reflective of society in general where folk just accept that this is just the way it is and accept the unacceptable.

What is their justification for it? Bring back the vidiprinter... Remember if a team scored 7 or more they used to spell it out after the number Always remember Sports Report on radio 2 aswell (pre 5 live). Distinctive theme tune and always started with the classifieds

I am sure that they will have performed a lot of analysis to determine which segments get the best ratings. Do they keep segments that few(er) people care about?

We’ll if they’re classified maybe they’re still doing them but you just don’t have the necessary clearance to watch/listen.

One of the 1st things you learnt as a young football fan back in the day was the ability to predict the outcome of the game just from the tone of voice and tempo used in reading out the home teams name. Another lost art !

Could be only Premier League and women's Super League.
So each supporter of a super-sized club gets 2 results should one go wrong.
Womens Super League already comes ahead of the Championship on the BBC website.

Yet another long standing tradition bites the dust. It seems the modern way is to change things just because they can - in this case it's the Beeb but it can be anything or any organisation - irrespective of whether or not it's progress or a mistake. Do they ever consult the customer before making these changes ?

What is their justification for it? Bring back the vidiprinter... The official line is that they now have live coverage of the half five game on a Saturday so are short of time. The reality is that they couldn't gve a single shit about any other result than the five or six games played in the Premier League on a Saturday.

Just my little protest to the BBC for being a biased, unfair licenced feed, useless piece of shit of an organization

Its brainwashing really, the power of corporate marketing. One one level you can think, what's the problem people can support whoever they want, but it goes deeper than that for me. People got no regard or interest in their own immediate communities, it's just another indicator of a fragmented society.
