It will happen after all this knicker wetting. Won't happen, but we might be worse than 21st after 46 games.

Is it really knicker wetting?
We’re heading into the 7th season where things are looking bad.
I’m still not that arsed and indeed often think losses in preseason lead to a decent season.
But you surely can’t blame anyone for thinking it’s going to be terrible?
It’s not like we’ve had anything to cheer about for 6 years and nothing has seemingly changed and doesn’t look like it will before the first game.

It will happen after all this knicker wetting. You happy with how things have gone then past 5 seasons? Go on, which bits in particular? I'm curious.

It's a cunning plan. We are trying to make everyone think we are shite (I think it's working).
Then they won't know what's hit them when we play like Man City on steroids.

We will be in the top 3 after 3 games, if you turn the table upside down.

It will happen after all this knicker wetting. Being top at the end of the season would be infinitely better.. unfortunately both scenarios are somewhat unlikely given the evidence provided by the last 7 months.

In 2018/19 the season they were promoted Sheff Utd lost the first 2 games but then won the next 4 and only lost another 2 before Xmas.

Why are loads of posters asking about the past 5-6 years for? With odd questions like “you Happy with past 5 years?” “What’s there been to cheer about?”
It’s taken a whole 2 years just for the current management to steady a heavily sinking ship, which was clogged up with an overly expensive underperforming and toxic squad that had been mismanaged and created from the 8-9 years previous. Whilst trying to keep our heads above the water in the league and squirming our way through and narrowly avoiding FFP penalties.
This is the first season where there’s a fresh slate, the rebuild od only just starting to happen.
Meanwhile all you moaning negative whiners could have actually been given some support to a young squad where a lot have come through the Stoke system and are given it a shot at changing our fortunes.

I'm buoyed by the transfer news of the last couple of days.
Most of all we need big Souttar back, fit and strong and on his best form.

Nail on the head for me mate. I'd rather watch this team of young and hungry, some of which home grown or home nurtured players, get beat every week whilst we rebuild than throw millions at mercenaries that couldn't give a fuck about our football club!! We're on the right path!
