Very very concerning that they have to resort to this day one. Never released figures re st sales did they? Sold more than last season according to the Sentinel.......

Great idea and fair play to the club. Played Blackpool last time we did something like this for the 50th League Cup win anniversary. Let’s hope it is a better result and game than last time to encourage fans to return.

Thumbs up but why not just make the offer general. Not just to season ticket holders. "Vis Unita Fortior"

When was the last time we beat Blackpool at home in a league match and have we ever done it at the Brit - it feels like they have a WBA type jinx over us at our pad, similar with Preston also

Was going take the wee lass to this as her first game - any chance of it selling out as probably won't be able to get tickets until the week before as might have family over same time?

There is less than a month to go before football returns to the bet365 Stadium and the Potters want to create a wall of noise for the visit of Blackpool on Saturday, August 6. Michael O’Neill and his players will be looking to launch their campaign of home fixtures on a positive note and the Club want them to have a large and vociferous crowd right behind them. We are pleased to announce that Season Card holders can purchase additional tickets for the clash with the Seasiders for just £10 per adult and £5 for concessions (over 65s and under 18s). Chief Operating Officer Simon King said: “There’s always a buzz around the first home fixture of a new season and from conversations I’ve had with supporters it’s clear how much they are looking forward to the Blackpool game. “We want to make it a memorable occasion, not only for our own fans but also for the players, particularly those who have joined the Club this summer. “We want the stadium to be rocking and would urge our Season Card holders to take advantage of the offer and bring along their family and friends. “Ticket initiatives of this nature are an additional benefit of being a Season Card holder and we decided to deploy it for the first home game of the season as we look to attract a big crowd.” Great idea and as my daughter is home from Uni for the summer she would love to go the match. Problem is she can’t sit with me because the seats around me in Block 23 are always full. I don’t want to move seats as I sit with my mates. I will contact the club on the off chance a seat next to mine hasn’t been renewed.

Full marks to the club on this one, I've just rang and been on the phone less than 2 minutes.
Good initiative, good service 👍

These offers tend to coincide with worst performance of the season. You'd like to think it won't get any worse than some of that shit we got served up last season.

Booked for the wife and eldest girl so they can come with us, quick call and good service from box office staff so can't fault them on that. Be good to have the ground rocking for game 1 , but can only afford to take the girls on the ticket offer games (and the cup games) for ££ reasons really. Know it's been said on here before , but the memberships at £20 are worth it for the extra ticket deals alone

Don't know though, large crowd like this could achieve something. (Aside from a possible great day out)
Play like a bunch of twits and hopefully the crowd will let em have it. Employ negative tactics and hopefully they will let HIM have it. And God forbid something positive takes place, hopefully the whole place will shake. (I'm hoping for this one, especially with all these possible kiddos seeing their first game)
Almost sounding like the front office is making their own effort, experimenting around with ways to kickstart performance. You are professional athletes making more money than most of us will ever see and we're watching you. Deal with it ffs. Sorry, but I'm not in the "Oh...there's so much pressure playing at home in front of that crowd..." camp.
If you can't take that heat, then you're not cut out to be a professional athlete, much less an elite one.

Brother got me a ticket. Just got the 12,000 mile journey to get to the ground. Yet people in Stoke On Trent won’t travel to it as it’s apparently a ball ache to get too now we aren’t in the premiership anymore
