I doubt anyone would be disappointed at all. Was great to see after what happened years ago and credit to both . Just seemed like a few minor incidents like you get anywhere . Awful game but doubt Frankfurt care at all. Agree. Very good news that the awful violence that occurred in Manchester wasn’t repeated to anything like the same degree in Seville. Absolutely. They were on standby just in case but just the usual Saturday night stuff it seemed. Lovely city and stadium and seemed to go off without anything to write home about at all.👍

Was it my telly, but apart from the minutes after they scored Rangers following was drowned out by those at the other end? Quiet as mice for 90% of that game

Also was their a single Frankfurt fan not in white?. I know they weren't all club tops but it made an impressive spectacle.

The sea of blue and the odd splash of orange for Rangers was equally as impressive.

I was amazed that there seemed to be no trouble in the ground during the game, as I saw it there were many areas with fans mixed together??
Just shows how hard most footy fans are when separated by 6 rows of seats and 2 lines of stewards.

Good point ....I love the whole 20 feet away and bouncing up and down scenario when nothing to stop them .... chuck a plastic chair then back off . Brave stuff Anyway.....like many was expecting mayhem but but great it didn't happen. Probably as you say, good as gold when no protection or segregation so to speak. Love Seville as a city so good night all round and best result Good point again 👍

Rangers fought tooth & nail and good on the fans for behaving themselves and not wrecking Seville. Glad to be proved wrong on this one. Can you imagine the great bier flowing in Frankfurt right now?

And this made me smile even more…
Plenty of Aaron Ramsey mentions… and a wee song for him too. Isn’t that nice.

I was at the game and the whole thing was a disgrace as soon as we reached the stadium. It took over an hour to get in the ground in 35 degree heat. The police confiscated everything we had including cold drinks and phone power banks despite the fact they were allowed as per uefa guidelines. Once inside there was no facilities at all for any kind of cold drinks. People were passing out due to the heat and dehydration.
The stadium is a death trap and makes Valencia look like a gentle incline. Really dangerous.
As nice as Seville is, it should not be hosting major events. It could not cope with the influx of fans at all.
Great experience throughout the day though and nice to see zero arrests despite major provocation from the police.
