We won three on the bounce in November, away wins at Blackpool and Luton and a home win against Peterborough.
We started the season really well too, winning six of our first eight games if you include the cup games.

This season, did we manage to win 3 games on the trot all season? Yes beat Blackpool, Luton and Peterbrough at the start of November. Our best run was probably the opening 6 games of the season won 3 drew 1 in the league and won 2 in the L Cup.

Weโve won 5 out of the last 8 against teams chasing play offs which isnโt too shabby.

Dead rubbers according to some unlike yesterday's game which was different because...because we lost I guess ๐ Odd that 3 of the posters moaning were calling for the fringe players to be given a chance as the game wasn't important.

Just check when certain posters were quiet and will answer your question ๐ You really need to stop being bitter about other people with a different opinion to yourself Three fact is, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has got one and they're all different (and some stink ๐) But that's what makes football in particular what it is. I tend to call things how I see it, if we've played well then I'll say that we played well, doesn't change the fact that I don't think MON should be our manager anymore. Opinions are fine and I like a good debate with someone who has a different opinion to me, so long as it is a constructive discussion with points or reasons as to why we have the opinion we do. The problem on this board is that you get alot of backhanded and snidey comments and sometimes quite personal insults aimed at people who's opinions differ from others and that simply isn't right. The fact is that we are all here because we love stoke city, and the main objective from all of us is to see this club do well and ultimately get back to the top table Just because someone's opinion is different, it doesnt mean that it's wrong

Basically we started the season well and, Boro excepted, are finishing the season well.
The problem has been that, apart from those unexpected 3 wins in a row in November, the great big piece in the middle has been woeful, near enough relegation form.

Would be a bit boring if we all thought the same and you wouldn't voice an opinion if you didn't believe it. Pointing out that some only appear when we lose isn't an opinion, is what actually happens. When we did win the last few they brushed them off as pointless games as opposed to yesterday which seemed to be an exception. I would say anyone who reads the board regularly could clearly see the same. Some want a change in manager, some don't. Nowhere have I stated that they are wrong because I don't agree, feel free to quote me otherwise. Not a fan of Bursik but some are, same again. I actually quite like Bayern and Duckers although don't agree with pretty much anything they say , Duckers does say it quite often and sticks to his opinion. Am sure he'd be delighted if proved wrong and MON took us up. No one is bitter in any sense. I never thought Souttar would make it.Delighted to be wrong.
