Becoming concerned about this kid. Has always struggled to maintain fitness, even before the injury. And the injury was no walk in the park. The flashes of brilliance before the injury mean f**k all now. Am rooting for Tyrese of course, but I am starting to have doubts regarding his transfer value holding up. His career is at that point now where he must crack on or his future earnings will suffer accordingly. Next season is make or break for him and for us.
I'm going to stay positive. He will get a nice break soon, fully recover and return to threaten this league appropriately. But my realistic side says if he returns after the summer and is out of shape, then my concerns will prove valid. He's at 5.5 million right now, according to transfermarket, so it may be a case of cashing in and moving on at that point. (Which he will likely then start banging in goals for fun for someone else - that's the way it usually works right?)

I hope he stays but for me he shouldn’t be a priority. I’ve already donned the tin hat.

We'd all love to see the lad back firing on all cylinders, but we have to plan for next season as though we don't have him, as we actually don't at the moment.

I think he was brought back too soon. It was a bad injury and he's not looked right all season. The spotlight needs to go off him - the club needs to build around other players and he just needs to quietly get his game back and re-earn his place in the starting eleven based on form rather than expectation. And I sincerely hope he earns his place.

Next season is so important for the lad - he needs to hit the ground running and produce a prolonged period showing the form he has briefly displayed he is capable of.

Fingers crossed for next season. Knee injuries are extremely difficult to gain a full recovery from in my experience. I twisted my knee and partially severed a ligament in my knee when I fell on a sharp object at 12 years of age and despite decades of very regular sport and martial arts involvement since then, I still get a dislocated knee cap from time to time. He's in a difficult situation and we can but hope he's lucky enough to regain sufficient functional strength to reignite his career at Stoke.

He needs to go back to whatever he was doing before, you're right he didn't look very fit early doors but that soon changed. Not sure why anyone would want to cash in on him now he's only 22.

He's not looked right all season, he looks overweight and unfit, when he's come on for the last 20 minutes he's been blowing out of his arse for 10 of them. I'm not sure what the issues are but he and the club need to work on a way to get things sorted. Gouranga.

Just checked on Transfermarket he's valued at £4.55 mill and falling. It looks like make or break for him next season. If he doesn't score his contribution to the team is miniscule to say the least.

The lad is nowhere near as good as people think he is. Looks like he’s running in treacle these days, can’t beat a man, can’t hold it up. Movement no good. I can see why he’s not picked. Hopefully he’ll get fit and get his head on

If he couldn’t finish and his dad wasn’t a pro, would be stacking shelves at Morrisons and playing for Clayton Redgate.
No intelligence No fight No strength No desire.

Here we go again
Stoke fans lining up to slaughter and stick the boot into somebody who’s out of form
Souttar, Powell, have all had “ the treatment” in recent times and now it’s the turn of Tyrese
Ram it back down their throats son just like the other two I’ve named

Bizarre treatment of Campbell by some supporters this season. At home this season there have been numerous games where the fans have got on his back.
This is a 22 year old coming back from a serious injury which has obviously had a big impact on his progression.
However we have seem glimpses of what he can offer. The goals against QPR, Birmingham & Peterborough show what he can bring, however somethings just not right at the moment. He seems a good lad around the club though, always involved in the celebrations even if not on the pitch etc.
He needs a full injury free pre season & also needs to get some belief/confidence, as he does look a little lost at times.
One issue is his best position, he needs to find it. Is he a poacher or a winger? For me we should get him through the middle, utilise his finishing & he will have a big impact.
