Looks like we’ve sold our initial allocation
Hopefully Sheff Utd will win at QPR on Friday and burst their bubble, I fancy us to nick it 1-0 (Baker)
No changes required:
Bursik
Wilmott Jagielka Harwood-Bellis
Smith Allen Baker Sawyers Tymon
Brown Maja

Would like to see a couple youngsters given a go, Sparrow maybe at wing back? Tezgel from the bench? Forrester should definitely start at least 1 of the last two but I’d probably use him against Coventry.
Bursik
Wilmot Jagielka Harwood Bellis
Sparrow Baker Allen Sawyers Tymon
Brown Maja
Bonham Forrester Smith Vrancic Wright-Phillips Campbell Tezgel

Not a game to be chucking in kids for me.
The name MBoro is depressing never mind the place. They somehow manage to make a red shirt absolutely shite every season. Is like some apocalyptic wasteland where the people have badly mutated and owning a Cortina and being on Methadone makes you a success.

Once Tony Ellis and the Paul Stewart Make sure you get yourself up there again on Saturday then 👍👍. Actually it’s three times. I totally forgot about the fluke win up there in 89/90. The other time was a midweek game under Macari when Carruthers scored in a 2-1 win.

It's true, no one kills a red shirt quite like Middlesbrough. Is it the shade of red or that they somehow don't quite commit to a completely red shirt or both?

Can't get to games at the minute apart from odd home ones due to injuries but should be back to normal next season

We got absolutely battered but somehow kept them out then got a corner and it hit Ellis on the back of the head and went in.

The only thing I remember was a really sparce crowd and had been some shenanigans in Middlesboro care homes and some baiting their fans about it. Was a bit like a Jimmy Carr joke reaction when it started.

Scary I remember Jones pulling out of a 50/50 with him in a cup game at the Vic to massive cheers. I loved Kamara, beast of a player. He was like Talos and Phil Lynott mixed into 1

Don’t remember Kamara getting sent off, mainly remember singing Alan Balls red and white army for pretty much the entire second half. I think Ball celebrated more at full time than when he won the World Cup.

On a side note, saw Gary Moore from Thin Lizzy at the Vicky Hall on a solo tour in early 80s. Brilliant guitarist.

Don't think he was intentionally dirty like Vinny Jones but often very late.

My parents lived about 100 yards away from where he died. We didn't know who it was at the time but was quite a crowd, Ambulance, police, staff etc and had popped to get some breakfast and the papers nearby. Was only about 2 days later when reported on the news we realised was him.
