I'll be in Spain for most of it so I'll get a nice break with world cup games on tv as a bonus. Wonder what sort of time they'll be played at? The times have all being confirmed Mon 21st Nov England Vs Iran 1pm Fri 25th Nov England Vs USA 7pm Tue 29th Nov England Vs (TBC) 7pm Cheers that's good 14.00 & 20.00 kick offs for group games in Spain. Nothing too late or in the middle of the night.

If, and it’s a big if we start the 22/23 season off to a flyer how are we supposed to maintain momentum ? The World Cup isn’t just about November because you are going to have warm up friendlies beforehand possibly September/October then dependent not just how England fare we could well have either Wales or Scotland in the mix, then we could be going into December. On returning from the cup the players are going to need a recovery break which could mean a late December return to normalcy, but that’s going to be if the winter weather is going to be kind. It's hardly like we have a proven track record on building momentum. I reckon a scrappy, disjointed season would work to our advantage as it brings others down to our level. We must have one the worst records for games after a international break, e.g we played WBA at home who at the time looked unbeatable, we win in front of a TV audience the 12th man has returned to the Bet 365 and even Bayern is praising the performance, we have a international break and then back down to earth like a lead balloon ! The last break is the first time that I can remember when we went in with a win and then returned with a win.

We've thrown in the isolated really good performance notably both games against WBA and Swansea but there doesn't seem to be any common denominator there. Must be as frustrating to the manager as it is us. It's definitely in there but he doesn't seem to have much influence on bringing it out.

We’re cursed, I haven’t started on our injuries yet, Butland, Souttar, Matthews !

It’s interesting how a post/thread about Burnley/Everton in the Championship has been turned into a MON bashing platform. Because he’s wank and needs to go. O’Neill OUT!!!!!!! Try jumping up and down and stamping your feet, maybe you will get noticed. Or even better just Bore off!!
