Christ that’s more depressing than reading our match reports 😂. I thought they were pretty solid and it was a even first half with us being more dangerous in the second and grinding a deserved win from a team leader ho have massively improved.

After he realised that we need to play 4 at the back and leave that f------ Chester out of the team, something a lot of us have wanted for a looong time!

Nice to see a reference to Viz by mentioning tagnuts, whinnets and dangleberries from the "clag gone " advert 🤣🤣🤣

I thought N-D was their only threat. His final ball was as frustrating as I remember it was for us but he was the only player for them that looked like doing something.

One thing painfully absent in all of that is any mention of Rhys Brewster.
Echoes of a similar sphere as Berahino for us. (Maybe not as disastrous)

For a team pushing for a play off place their fans were very quiet.
And yes I know ours ain’t much better.

For a team pushing for a play off place their fans were very quiet. And yes I know ours ain’t much better. For such a decent following we were joking they must be on sponsored silence only heard 'U N I T E D' a couple of times early on. The support for both teams in the first half matched the game once Stoke stepped up a bit in the second half the home fans created some atmosphere and a lot better feel round the ground and team and fans responded. In Liathroid highlights and Sheff utd vlogs etc there fans honest enough saying they deserved nothing and like most teams referenced injured players.

I thought we played pretty well second half. Can probably see why they’d say that from their POV though. Always worse when you lose. Thought they were garbage, so sloppy in possession.

I thought they were up there with some of the worst teams we’ve played against since relegation.
They had no plan. They had no threat. And they were just shocking.
We played poorly and won, we didn’t need to play well.
They were time wasting in the first half of a game that they should have been looking to win. It was a really odd game from them.

Reading their board, it seems like their away form is awful and they’d have likely been very happy with a point. They have 5 of their last 7 at home though and could conceivably go up despite being tripe both times we’ve played them. It really highlights what a missed opportunity this campaign has been.

Frankly from what I’ve seen the only point in Sheff Utd (or any of the teams chasing the play offs) getting promoted is if they rake in a seasons worth of PL cash , don’t spend it and get relegated with the money for another go with a better side. Fulham have got half a chance of staying up, Bournemouth might at a push but the rest forget it.

I thought their player with the whistle at the end was pretty good...can't seem to place his name. He could have won it for them had the game been a minute or two longer.

I never understand this statement. What do you mean he is “not a footballer”. What was he doing for 90 minutes on Saturday? It looked like being paid to play football to me.

So Joe had time in midfield 'to tie his laces'. Yet some on here think that he's finished.
