Just got home. 8 from me set the team up well, better system, didn't play Chester, subs about right at the right time, clean sheet, 3 points. Gouranga.

8 2nd half an improvement on the 1st, so presumably said the right things at HT. Made a progressive sub which improved us.

Better formation. Allen+Thompson+creative is the sensible option when Baker is injured. The motivation first half seemed shite but turned aroud a bit second. Also, if Wilmot is intended as a future CB I'd rather see him there now than out right so he can keep learning his trade.

Another slow moving rate the manager thread with some notable absentees.
Strange.
But predictable.

It was an attacking line up, but the front three were too far apart to support each other, with Maja looking isolated and having too many balls thumped at him in the air.
After a non-event first half the second was pretty good. We sat back when we had to but played much of it on the front foot.

Without Powell to link the midfield to the forward Maja looked extremely isolated!!! Vrancic was off the pace a little, plus he didn't move forward enough to link up much with Maja!!!

1st half 4 - terrible 45 minutes of boring, crap football
2nd half 8 - much better, tempo alot higher "gave it a go" without a huge amount of quality or goal threat. Made some positive subs on but didn't completely agree with who came off at the times they did. Seemed like he tried to steal the initiative a bit

A solid 7,poor 1st. half, but could have won by more in the 2nd half.

8 from me. On chances created we should have won by more, plus another unsoiled sheet. His subs were spot on.
OS.

Solid 8
We were the better team against a side in the play off spots...who frankly didn't look interested (until we scored)...very strange
Tymon's crosses were superb and deserved more than the 1 goal. Brown had Norrington-Davis on toast
Cagey first half but in the second we knew they were there for the taking.
