Saturday is upon us again, I actually fancy us as I think Utd will come at us which I always think suits us. Moore out for the season so I wouldn't be surprised to see just the one change from Millwall:
Bonham
Smith Harwood-Bellis Jagielka Tymon
Allen Baker Vrancic
Brown Maja Wright-Phillips
Subs: Bursik, Forrester, Thompson, Sawyers, Sima, Campbell, Fletcher.
2-1 (Wright-Phillips, Baker) 24,213 (3,000 unhappy Blades)

Bonham (deserves another game after his penalty save)
Bellis (like to keep him at RB) Jags Wilmot Tymon
Baker Allen Thompson (better defensively against a good team than Vrancic)
Brown Maja DWP
Subs: Bursik, Smith, Forrester, Fox, Vrancic, Sawyers, Campbell (25 minutes at the end of the game).

This game has ‘Chezzy’ written all over it. O’Neill’s wet dream!!!!!! what is 'Chezzy'? Vranic Maja and Allen? Jagielka is not the player he once was but probably a better option than Chester.

We will probably win 8-0 now.

I've spent the last week pontificating about this delectable fixture, and have slowly come to the conclusion that I will grudgingly accept a victory for this one.

When we play Sheff Utd I always recall the 2-2 Boxing Day game at the Brit in 1997 when there was loads of Blades in the home end and a few ended up running for the lives. I'm pretty sure one of them ran onto the pitch just after they scored, did about 5 circuits before begging for the police to take him away I expect a good atmosphere tomorrow, they usually travel well and get behind their team.....

I always remember the game in the early 90’s at the Vic where they were going for auto promotion (along with Leeds I think) when they had that flourescent yellow away strip. I think Brian Deane scored the winner for them, finished 0-1. They were an excellent side and I loved that away strip.

If ever a team had promotion written all over them with a squeaky win. Paul Barnes missed a great chance to level it

They've had a good record against us over the years, since we spanked them 5-2 in the late 80's we've won 4 in 29 against them........
