Pleased that Sawyers is starting in the advanced role at least (assuming he is and that he’s not playing Baker there).
Wing backs a bit weird.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/cardiff-stoke-city-live-stream-6812612Team news: Michael O'Neill changes personnel and shapeBen Wilmot, Morgan Fox, Romaine Sawyers and Tyrese Campbell have been recalled to the Stoke City starting line-up at Cardiff. Michael O'Neill has made a series of changes in what is expected to be a 4-3-3 with Josh Tymon and Campbell either side of Jacob Brown.
Fox has recovered from an ankle injury picked up while he was serving a three-game suspension and will start at left-back while Wilmot is walking a yellow card tightrope. Tonight is the amnesty for 10 bookings and Wilmot, on nine, will face a two-game ban if he has his name taken. Will Forrester and D'Margio Wright-Phillips are named on the bench. Stoke are looking to get back to winning ways after draws on the road at Barnsley and Peterborough.

So we have Tymon as a attacking winger and an attacking winger on the bench. Bemused.

Better, but I still don't see the point in playing Chester! We won't go up or down, so start planning for next season!

Game 37 so it’s the 10 booking cut off tonight so Wilmot needs to avoid one

Of the players left out, I guess you could say that Duhaney has been definitely been dropped as he's not even on the bench, despite the fact that his replacement, Wilmot, may be taking a holding back course to avoid any cards. Not unexpected at all, O'Neill never lets young players stay in the team for many successive games. Why? Search me, but he might believe that playing three games in a row in the almighty O'Neill team will go to the player's head and damage him beyond reapir. Of course he might just have been disappointed with Duhaney's performance...

It’s as if he puts names in a hat then asks somebody pull them out. How are we supposed to get a settled team.
