When you see the results achieved by teams like Coventry, Huddersfield and QPR with their never say die attitude you have to question why we are so lacklustre

We've got good quality in the side. MON now picks a good team, but the leadership just isn't there. Fucking depressing.

Tell me more of this strange concept suggesting mutual cooperation as an organised group of individuals aiming for a common goal or 'team-working' as they may say 🤔

Tell me more of this strange concept suggesting mutual cooperation as an organised group of individuals aiming for a common goal or 'team-working' as they may say 🤔 Rewind the clock to our first few years in the Premiership No real superstars, 11 players giving 100% most of the time We thrive on being the underdogs, don’t seem to be able to function as the favourites / more talented team Immediate task is to raise morale, senior players can really help manage any blame culture We really need to keep our better players and ensure they want to stay

Quality is nothing without attitude and some of our guys seem to wilt at the slightest hint of pressure or things not going their way. We are the antithesis of what we were when last got out of this league.

JPB has been non existent for the last 2 games THB I couldn't really give two shits about. He will make an okay Championship centre half, he's no better, and he's not ours so 🤷🏻♂️

We may as well go for the league record. I reckon we can get to 50 players in a season if we use the ball-boys and Ethel who makes the tea.

Yeah it's his job to sort this out. He's been too consistently poor at inspiration and in-game adaptation for me. We know he can do it, like in the West Brom game we kept us going all match. I really hope he works something out.

The worst manager we've ever had guides a desperately limited team to a comfortable victory on our own patch with the winning goal being scored by a bloke who was desperately shit for us 10 years ago whilst he still had his only asset of pace.
Hopefully this is as low as we sink following relegation. The final ignominy for a club that has sunk so quickly it almost feels impossible to actually achieve it.

It's a fine line between genuine reasons and pathetic excuses. You look at the budget of a Coventry, Luton or Huddersfield and it would pale against ours and you look at the value of players our manager has been afforded in relation to those. Our manager has been afforded the luxury of spending 2M on Sam Surridge and been allowed to ship him out less than 6 months later whilst Coventry had to recruit Gyokeres on a free, Huddersfield Jordan Rhodes on a free and Luton Cameron Jerome on a free...
However, none of those clubs have had the sheer volume of players to shift out that we have and sometimes I get the feeling that the churn in the squad is potentially more damaging in the context of the recruitment and the throwing together of characters in the space of a few weeks.
However again, the manager is being repeatedly out thought and out fought by his peers at this level and he just doesn't seem to change and roll with the punches when he needs to and that simply has to be a worry going forwards.
To watch a team whack 60/70 yard balls to Josh Maja all night, when you had the option of moving Powell behind him ( a quality of player those clubs above simply don't have...) yet didn't, then to take him off for Fletcher when you could have given them 5 or 10 minutes together as a partnership was absolutely criminal.
To then compound that by sticking with the rigid 433 with Fletcher seemingly isolated took criminality a stage further.
A really appalling night in reflection that sadly isn't the only time it's happened.
My overriding emotion is fear that this manager can't turn it around and that we will be at the mercy of our owners very limited manager recruitment book.

We know he can do it, like in the West Brom game we kept us going all match. I really hope he works something out. An indicator of how poor he is tactically is that we carried on playing the same way despite going behind. We very rarely look like getting back into games once we go behind and we’ve been largely terrible at seeing out games when we’ve taken the lead like against Forest. He’s just a bad manager.
