I was just told they’re really worried 😂😂 And now you've advertised they're coming ready for trouble it's given our numpties a whole week to gather the troops together. I'm sure your copper mates are delighted. To be fair you are the only one who has suggested that !

I've been thinking about this since Saturday evening, and I've come to the conclusion that I'll accept a win in this game.

Do you really think I believe the police are worried that Bayern has given away top secret information about the intentions of some fat 60 year old has been Brummie hooligans?

If you're thinking of having a bet on that outcome you won't like the odds.

Somebody is going to get a battering real soon. Hopefully it will be Luton but Saturday will do.
We'll win the game no bother.

We seem to have the same old stuff every time we play Birmingham. There will be trouble, they bring X amount etc. To be fair their away followings are often pretty poor and this trouble never seems to happen. They like to put stickers on lamp posts and on car bumpers which is pretty brave of them , give them that.

Lamp posts are a slightly less challenging target, obvs.

Dont agree with this at all.ie " to be fair their away followings are often pretty poor" Since my very first game - which was a 2-1 defeat at Home to Blues in 1972 through to our last game against them they have always brought a good following to Stoke- unlike the likes of Derby and Leicester who seem to have only located our ground on a map in the lst 20 years. Blues are pretty similar to us as a club and so is their support- very working class. This season their way followings have been excellent, I would guess just a bit better than ours at the moment ( last time I saw the away day numbers per club they were a couple of hundred more per game than us) It will be a good atmosphere and I pray for a result- Ive lots of Blue Noses in the family

The full allocation is 2900. We've sold 300 less tickets due to segregation reasons. Pendants Corner That 300 are just "hanging" on.

Its Villa who have been the outliers in the West Midlands- brought about 11,000 in the mid 70s and then another 8-9000 a year or so later. Wolves as high as 6,000, Blues Probably had 6-7000 in 1975, but then consistently similar to Wolves and WBA over the years- I think the Blues had a big and impressive following in 84 even when crowds had plummeted. The one following that surprised me was 2010- a night game in the premier league when they brought about 1,800

This was before the ground trouble. Anyway not going to change the result. Hopefully see them off.

Background rumours that Powell will not be fit. If so, MON please play DWP, not revert to a Thommo or Clucas third midfielder option. If Sawyers is fully fit, at least a spot on the bench for him, as he too can play this attacking midfield role. Otherwise, as you were and three points for hte taking.
I saw a report yesterday they are without 6 key first teamers, including our old friend Troy Deeney. Shame.
