Is he settled on a back four now then or will he mix it up for certain games?
For me.
Bursik
Wilmot Moore Jagielka Tymon
Allen/Clucas Baker Powell
Brown/Campbell Maja Bidace

Bursik Wilmott Jags Bellis Tymon Allen Baker Powell Brown Maja Campbell
Moore was good Saturday but hasn’t played a lot recently Tough for the manager now though with a lot of options (finally)

I’d start Philogene-Bidace over Campbell No, Brown for me! You’d drop Brown? He’s playing better than Campbell is right now.

Tough decision but Ty is a better all round player for me and is now looking like he is getting his form back ,plus setting up both goals against Wigan. Brown too is improving and I'm not against him. We are looking good up front all of a sudden and I'm expecting a vast improvement in the short term.

I think he'll stick with the 4-3-3
Bursik
Wilmot (would go Smith personally) THB Jagielka Tymon
Baker Thompson (think he'll go Allen) Powell
Brown Maja Campbell
Bench: Bonham, Moore, Smith Allen(Thompson), DWP, JPB, Fletcher

Brown is doing very well as a not too late sub; he's scored twice recently as a sub. I think O'Neill has found Brown's right level. Campbell and O'Neill has arrived at a compromise. Campbell plays, but he plays on the right not centrally. DWP or JPB to make the Swansea rb's life a misery. Probably JPB, as DWP played two days ago, and O'Neill wants to protect him from burning out by playing too often.

I’d start Philogene-Bidace over Campbell 100%. Starts when fit. Campbell not as effective from the left either.

Bursik Wilmot Jags Moore Tymon Baker Allen Campbell Powell JPB Maja I’d go for Wilmot in a 4 rather than Smith as he’s more solid. Allen ahead of Thompson as Thompson looks like he’s still fighting for fitness. Campbell played well yesterday and has earnt another start. Bit hard on Brown but i think he’s a perfect impact sub. When he starts I find his misreading of the game a bit frustrating. Can’t fault his effort though. Is Wilmot really more solid than Smith? He was run ragged in the first half at Huddersfield and didn’t look comfortable there yesterday. Wilmot is poor, passing and positional play is shocking!!!!

Bursik Wilmot, Jagielka, THB, Tymon Allen, Clucas, Baker Campbell, Maja, JPB Really? No place for Powell in your line up? I think his creativity is crucial for that front three.

Tomorrow’s team
Bursik
Smith. Harwood jagielka Tymon
Baker
Allen. Powell
Brown. Madje. Biddace
Would be mine and I’d swap allen for sawyers or vranic when fit and Campbell for brown eventually but I think he’ll go for that team with wilmot instead of smith as a three centre half’s in the team comfort blanket , we’ve been there before with the capped one see woodgate abd Huth
If he goes back to three + wingbacks I give up

Save him for Forest I certainly won't be moaning if Powell starts and with Vrancic out too yes creativity would be a concern however Powell is not long back from injury he probably needs easing back Keen to see what Baker can do and would look for JPB to create

Really? No place for Powell in your line up? I think his creativity is crucial for that front three. We have clearly progressed considerably in the last few weeks, if a fit Powell is no longer an automatic choice! As with younger player's protection against burning out too soon, O'Neill tends to protect players that were recently out with long term injuries, so he might leave Powell on the bench. Howver if he feels the team is struggling Powell could be introduced early second half.

We just need to win this. Powell to start for me, get him another 50-60 minutes in his legs, hopefully getting us with a decent lead. We do need to protect him a bit but we don't have Vrancic and there are no 'easy' matches in which we can drop points any more.
I don't know enough about Bursik's injury but conceivably he might benefit from one more week of recovery before becoming our regular no.1. He's not as critical to the team as Powell even if Bonham is a bit ropey.
Might we have Fletcher, DWP and Brown all on the bench? Mad options!

That bench is so strong now. 18 months ago all we had on the bench to change a game was vokes now we have players that came change a match.

Massive game in terms of our season. Need 3 pints just to keep in touch. Is that 3 pints so you can understand what Nige says on the radio, or enough to have blurry eyes to enable you to watch it?

I've got a feeling O'Neill pulled Powell on Saturday with playing an attacking side today in mind and might consider dropping Powell and go more defensive against Forest in order to take a point/nick a win late on.

Bursik Smith Jags Harwood-Bellis Tymon Baker Allen Campbell Powell Biddance Maja/ Brown Is Maja/Brown a new double barrelled squad member? Maybe the transfer policy is designed to confuse the officials and sneak 12 players on the pitch.....cunning
