Hmm, 🤔 I've always said he's a league one player, and today's just proved my point!!! 😏 With that logic Bowen is a non league player lol. Go take your negativity elsewhere. Bump a Michael O’Neil out thread or have a pm with hyaduck or something.

Does having a different opinion to yourself upset you??? 🤔 No problem with opinions but when you use phrases such as “proved my point” it means you’re trying to suggest your opinion is factual which isn’t the case.

but Wigan are not a typical league one side are they? They are probably the best team in that Division and look better than several Championship sides Ive seen this season. Isn't that the way leagues work though??? Bit like some of the top championship clubs being better than some of the lower Premier league clubs....still playing in their respective divisions for now though!!! 🤔 So you consider it takes the same level of ability to run rings around Liverpool's defence as does Norwich's defence because they are in the same Division based on that logic ? Anyway you've made up your mind a long time ago so fair enough, no problem for me.

What a load of absolute bollocks. Well that's convinced me to think otherwise!!! 🙄 It wasn't meant to convince you otherwise. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on anything, but when your opinion is quite clearly ridiculous on all levels, do not be surprised when folk call you out on it. Jacob Brown has, this season especially, proved himself plenty good enough for the division he is in.

Proved my point to me, that's all that matters innit??? I don't rate Brown as a footballer, and I think people overreact when he scores!!!
The difference some people spout when he has a game when he's not scored, and his touch has been generally poor (which is usually the norm), is totally different, just look at past comments, at least I'm consistent!!!
He's not shit, he does well sometimes, but I don't think he's anything better than a league one player!!!

Best striker at the club this season.
His improvement from last season has been fantastic. Is he enough to get you out the division? not so sure.
Hopefully Maja proves to be a bit magic and Campbell recaptured his previous form but right now, Broooooon is the man.

That some of the top teams in lower divisions, are equal or better than some of the lower teams in the next league up..... Nobody mentioned Liverpool???

Player's (can) improve. This highlights the biggest problem with football forums/message boards imo.Posters are so insistent that they're right, that they can't change their opinion on a player. When it's one of ours,it's just a little bit sad.

It’s just saying that you’d made your mind up and you’re sticking to it. I think before this season most people were saying that they could never see Tymon having any kind of impact for us at this level. He’s improved a lot and has been pretty decent. It would be consistent for most to say that he is shit, but he’s clearly not. Players can develop and improve - a consistent view of a player is surely just blinkered.

Strikers are judged on goals,so Cambell must be non league, and John Ritchie must of been PDSL.

Brown may not be the greatest of players, but he is decent for this division.
Improved from last season,if he improves even more next season, who knows how far he can go.

Before this season I'd written Tymon off and thought Brown was...well....just shit bar running about a lot. But I've been made to eat my words. Both have improved out of all recognition. Well done to both especially Browny and long may it continue.

What a great substitute performance.
I hadn't seen the couple of games before Wigan, but this getting shots in sooner seems new (and long overdue). It didn't work for Fletcher, but it worked for Brown.
