Best times ever under Lou. Better than the premier league years. Maybe just my age though at the times. He is an absolute ambassador of Stoke on Trent, right up there with some of our greats. To answer one previous quote, Lou could just retire to the leafy streets of Trentham and not give a shit but he does. I can get the poster in a limited way. There have been similar issues in Stafford with homeless charities which then attracted homeless from Wolverhampton. However, there is no easy answer here. I volunteered for mid staffs MIND for a number of years and many of these people just need help. I know this does split opinion but I always feel better buying a sandwich or a coffee for somebody who is less fortunate than me. Just my opinion don’t shoot me. Shoot you mate? I'd want to pat you on the back and shake your hand. Respect.

Did great things for Stoke City, but not so great things for the City. The sooner his flophouse is shut down the better. It causes no end of problems and is one of the main reasons why Hanley is infested with violent beggars and dustheads. Or, rather than shutting it down, relocate it to the leafy suburbs of Trentham where he lives, lets see how the people living there like it. That's a very loaded post. I think the best thing you can do is elaborate on why you believe this? Hanley's homelessness problem has been getting worse for years, I'm curious why you think Lou has made it worse.

I've just watched an hour long interview with him and two presenters, one being Johnny Evans Mrs, at the macari centre for mutv.
Nello was there too. It was a cracking hour interview. The last 10 minutes they spoke about his son when he sadly died. Lou broke down in tears for a couple of minutes, so did the presenters.
Worth watching if you can get hold of it on mutv podcast.

And let's face it, that is nothing like human empathy.

To say Lou is a hero of this city is an absolute understatement...he deserves a knighthood. No chance he can't drive a car around in circles or win a game of tennis. He's never spent ten years in a job he didn't do very well either.

My family Watched it again this week with the addition of my girlfriend's Canadian boyfriend. It's interesting to see the reaction of people who have no understanding of who Nello was, his relationship with Stoke/Macari and his ability to befriend people. He could not get his head around the fact that it was fact based, must have asked on 3 or 4 occasions "Did this part really happen?" Lou will always be my favourite manager and his work for the City's homeless should be lauded. Deserves a thread all of its own doesn't it?!

Great man & what he does for the homeless in the city should earn him a knighthood. Gave me some of my best times supporting scfc. Certainly more deserving than Tony fookin bliar that's fo sho.
