Fair play to the club for offering this facility, but seriously, we need some sort of open day to train people how to enter a football ground?
The world’s gone mad.

There were people on here last week asking how to download and keep their Covid pass QR code, so maybe this isn't such a daft idea. The club is offering help to those who feel they may need it, what's wrong with that? Maybe there will only be a handful of people taking it up...then we will know what a tech savvy bunch we all are

They have gone well beyond the call of duty here.

Completely insane.

Obviously not everyone that’s over 65 will need the help but I think it’s a fair way to judge it. Needs an article in the Sentinel too and probably a mention on Radio Stoke.

It’s almost comical if not for the fact that some may struggle. Well done to the club though for trying to help, I’m not trying to be overly critical but it’s just a thought. I’m sure they’ll find ways to spread the word.

If they were tech savvy they would link it to your season ticket I suspect it's an absolute minefield from a data protection point of view so almost likely completely impractical. Have the big Premier League clubs done this?

The assistance day is a great gesture by the club ..and to be applauded , even if it just helps or puts a handful of people / supporters mind at rest It shouldn’t be assumed everyone’s circumstances or technical understanding / confidence , matches your own supporters who are medically exempt may also welcome help , clarification ..I believe once that status is confirmed people can get their status put on their NHS app / device wallet . Carers if applicable may also welcome clarification and assistance for those that they’re looking ....which may prove useful to the small number of supporters who are both exempt AND can’t. / shouldn’t be tested for medical reasons. We’re all one group when it comes to being supporters , but we all have individual levels of need or circumstance , and for some , particularly those with additional needs, life and the world has become harder and more devisive recently ..let’s be kind to each other www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-medical-exemptions-proving-you-are-unable-to-get-vaccinated

It is for now mate but I think the arseholes in charge have hinted it will lift to 3 with the booster 'once they have given sufficient time to get one' Whole Omicron thing will probs have blown through by then looking at the SA curve data!

A great gesture by the club and will help perhaps those that are not tech savvy how to get the App on a mobile phone.
I just hope supporters are still allowed to attend games by 30th December.

If they were tech savvy they would link it to your season ticket I thought that but apparently it's not that easy because the software isn't set up to do it and it's not worth it as in a few month's time it could all change again.

Best thing they could do is tell us what time we need to start queuing to see kickoff. Also if you don’t think it’s worth it whether you can get a refund or credit for next season. I don’t like night games in the middle of Winter as it is, if it’s going to take 2 hrs to get into the ground I really can’t be arsed with that.

It really shouldn't take a long time, it didn't when I went to Belgium recently and watched a couple of matches. Just longer than it does now but only by a few minutes. Was really effecient. However this is England where we do most things badly
