Do they see something in him that we surely didn't?!
£4mill, I tell you what, we have had a lucky escape there. The guy is gash. Brazil are welcome to him. I'd rather have an experience goal getter in Phillips.

I hope he doesn't prove us wrong! Cant see it somehow, although I would be first to admit that is Shameobi became a prolific goal scorer for them next season and kept them up, would cry into my Carling if the worst happened to us. GOARNNNNN STOKE!!

Apparently so. More like the fact that TP realised how shite he was and decided to spend Coatesy money on someone a bit better, than Newcastle made him out to be.

His goal record is actually very good. Then again most were scored when he was alongside Shearer and ANYONE would score alongside Shearer.

TP lost interest in Ameobi when we won promotion, because Nugent is his number one target and believes he will get him now we are in the Premiership. Remember we only got Shola on loan when the move to loan Nugent failed.

When everything is said and done I'm glad we haven't signed him, but i still think it's harsh to judge him on his time with us, and he is obviously a much better player than what we saw of him, i too hope he doesn't prove us wrong, but looking at his injury record i doubt he will.

Everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten that every man and his dog was creaming their kegs when we signed him on loan! How things change!!!
