๐ธ๐ช
Sweden have got a new Prime Minister and for the first time it was a lady, Magdalena Andersson.
She has nominated the new government. Some old faces with routine, but also some surprises, people noone ever heard of before, including some experts.
One female minister hasn't always been a female.
They also had a voting about the budget. Here it works like this: every political party can if they wish present a budget of their own. And some parties may want to work together on a budget. This time the opposition side won, the right wing parties budget.
So what it means is this: our minority government, the Social Democrats still has the political power, but they have to follow their opponents budget, right wing politics.
The Green Party abandoned the government when the winning budget was presented. They didn't want to follow any right wing-policy.
It's kind of strange.

Do you have the same system?
First vote for a political party on national level. Some political party/parties win, ok.
Then they vote on a budget themselves in the Riksdag (Parliament).
So now a left side government have to enforce right wing poลitics.

It's not very promising, at least not when it comes to gang shootings.
M Damberg Finance Minister in the new government said this week the gang related violence has developed during a long time, 15-20 years, so it will take a loooong time to do anything about it. I had a feeling he meant 15-20 years. About the first thing he said.
For a start, I had no idea it's his responsibilty as a Finance Minister to solve that issue.๐ค Is their solution to give away less of social welfare benefits?
And secondly, give me a week. Tops!
