Comes to something when we spend most of the second half, time wasting. Didn't do that even under TP. Not unhappy but find it strange we feel the need against a team like Peterborough.

After the Cardiff game it’s inevitable. Don’t time waste and throw the lead we’d get criticised for not doing what other teams do against us when leading. Can’t win really.

The fact is it works and will hopefully mitigate what happened vs Cardiff happening again

We needed to today, we were absolutely garbage with the ball.

We still need to get smarter at it and make it less obvious. 7 minutes of extra time indicates the officials thought we were taking the piss and we have to get the balance right.

Concede and they would get blamed for not time wasting.
Time waste and they get criticised for doing it.
Make it make sense.

We needed to do it. We were appalling today. It was good game management for a change.

It was a bad day at the office, but to come away with the 3 points & making that 3 wins in a row is a good sign.
Hopefully we find our rhythm though, as it’s not pretty to watch.

Campbell needed to come on for Fletcher, and Brown to stay on with him against a team playing such a high line,we need a defensive mid ASAP, midfield too lightweight and none existent at times, and with Chester needing all the protection he can get, not a good combination.predictable substitutions by O'Neill once again, also crosses from wingbacks have dried up, tactical nous is needed now O'Neill, but I won't hold my breath because I don't think you have any.

Bloody hell mate we're doing well to put a team out at the minute with half the first team missing through injury. It's not going to be pretty just be grateful we're holding it together.

Every team ever has done this, and it's going to happen to us multiple times this season. A few years ago we would have lost or drawn this type of game. Now we've ground out three points and one of our best players has found the scoresheet again. But still people love to find negatives. Absolutely baffling.

Ha ha what you on about? Other than Souttar and Powell, who are both big players for us, the other missing are not guaranteed starters. It was a poor performance today, we had no real tempo to our play and it wasn’t pretty to watch. I said it was a good sign that we won playing poorly, but let’s not pretend that we should be grateful for beating Peterborough at home. I’m positive about the season so far & delighted to see Tyrese score, but it wasn’t great today.

What if Peterborough had equalised during the 7 minutes added time? Would we have been crowing then? Game management is not going down and rolling round every five seconds, you just then get extra time that you have to defend when you are more tired! Game management is keeping the ball away from your opponents and making them chase the ball, tiring them out before delivering the knockout blow! That performance was fucking abject and we were very lucky to win, we must keep the ball better. I hope Sawyers paid his entrance fee, cos he did absolutely nothing!

Whether you like it or not all first team regulars before getting injured. Add to that Sima, Doughty and Oakley-Booth and even Campbell who is nowhere near fully fit yet. That's a fair few first team/matchday squad members I'm sure you'll agree? In typical Oatcake fashion you put words in my mouth to try and justify your point. Nowhere did I say we should be grateful for beating Peterborough at home. What I did say was be grateful we're holding it together in other words I'm glad we can put out a team that can win 3 games on the bounce keeping 3 clean sheets whilst at the same time acknowledging it wasn't the best ever performance.

Yes, delighted with the three points.but fully aware against better opposition we would have lost that game,no question, have yet to see a plan B from O'Neill if we are not playing well in games...

I think your just looking for an argument. You’ve just replied and agreed with everything I said in the first post. I was being negative in anyway, just said it wasn’t a good performance, good to win 3 in a row, then you repeated it.
