Yes, lets hope English managers fail so we can bring in more foreign coaches. That will really help develop our game.

Would like to see Newcastle go down, obv., because. Norwich are Norwich so whatever they do, the best of luck to them. Villa? The one sleeping giant in the Midlands, but for getting shut of Dean Smith for Gerrard, happy to see them stumble and fall.

Our game seems to be doing pretty well tbf, and having world-class managers at Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and previously Spurs seems to have played a big part in that.
Maybe the likes of Lampard could have a bash abroad and develop their own game?

It's not lack of opportunities that are stopping English managers. There's none that are good enough for that elite level yet. And there hasn't been for a long time. Even the best over time have tended to be Scottish.

I feel for the managers who have to miss out to accommodate these inexperienced ex-PL players. It certainly makes it (slightly) harder for them, even if they aren’t themselves at the elite level.

Arguably Ole has been the most successful with 2nd place but that’s largely down to the quality of the team he manages.

What has being an ex PL player got to do with anything sorry? The likes of Gerrard and Lampard (ole too to an extent) getting top level jobs with very very little managerial experience. I think it’s largely down to their PL playing experience. Just think it’s a bit unfair on an up and coming manager from a lower league, although I do admit that they might not ever be at the level to manage in the prem, but Lampard and Gerrard haven’t exactly proven they can either. Suppose we’ll see this season??

Rather Arsenal, Man United and Newcastle come down, even though that would cause us problems next year. (unless promoted obviously)

Lampard was ok and should get another job in the PL at some point? Gerrard has done a good job with Rangers but yeah it'll be interesting to see how he gets on with a better level of football.

Can’t believe the complete ignorance by the media of Howe’s cheating at Bournemouth. We can’t have been the only side which suffered at the hands of his cheating conniving players? I remember Watford when one of their players left the ball after a shout of “leave it” from a Bournemouth player, was it Harry Arter?? I hope they go down just because of Howe. Otherwise I’d want them to stay up and challenge the top 4.
