That's as bad a day at the office as they come to be honest. It all starts from gifting them a first goal, changes the entire complexion of the game. Yes the flap from Joe should have been like a major red flag. “Right we’ve shot ourselves, but we’ve a 2 goal-cushion, time to assess and fix this…” 3 goals in 5 minutes. Maybe if we were 4 up they would have scored 4 in 7 minutes. James Chester should never play for us again. I’d love to see Chester down the pecking order but Tymon in front of him was beyond hopeless today…….

He’s rapidly losing the plot. I’ve always backed him but we aren’t improving enough. Massive next few games for him and I hope he pulls a rabbit out of the hat but I can’t see it at the moment unfortunately

In general Ive been a supporter of MON for the great job he did in stabilising us after the debacle of Nathan Jones. However, I just doubt he has the tactical nous to turn us into promotion contenders. Today was diabolical and whilst the players have to take some responsibility, our defensive set up looks awful right now. Our big summer signing Surridge looks devoid of confidence or form. Its been a poor 2021 and MON needs to improve things soon IMO, but I think he is limited in his own ability as a manager.

I like ONeill but that is indefensable
Absolute shocking, as bad as a defeat

Absolutely useless today Standing on the sidelines watching what was happening and does nothing. Then takes off the front two who had scored 3 goals. They weren’t the problem. The midfield and the defence were the problem. Sawyers wanted taking off and replacing with Vrancic. The bloke hasn’t got a clue. Go now please.

He did this with Northern Ireland and was on the verge of the sack. Got a good away draw and then turned things around. Let's hope he does the same here because at the moment he seems to have totally lost the plot.

The least proactive in game manager we’ve had? This has been on the cards and again he couldn’t see it. His subs generally don’t work. He doesn’t make proactive subs. He doesn’t react to oppositions subs or changes in tactics until it’s too late. He really needs to sort it out. Yeah it's a pattern. Today was harsh though, two catastrophic errors I don't blame him for. All hopes of a strong promotion push are now dead for me unless he fixes the backbone + game management issues. Could still make it since the championship is a crapshoot full of crap though.

To get promoted and stay there, it’s not happening with him

Not his fault the goalkeeper and defence collapsed

It’s pretty obvious he’s not someone the players need to be afraid of or respect. Too much of an easy ride being a Stoke player under him. There’s a soft, yellow underbelly running through the team from the top in MON to whichever charlatan takes to the field.

If the keeper for the first and Tymon for the 2nd didn’t totally embarrass themselves we win that comfortably. He didn’t need to react to the opposition the game was in the bag until the players on the pitch let him down. I would have kept Brown on though I would criticise him for that, Fletcher was blowing so that was inevitable…… Agree completely that that’s the conclusion of why they scored but Joe Allen fucks up to start them in their way to both attacks. First goal he needs a simple pass out to help the ball on its way but as ever he takes a shit touch and comes back inside, loses the ball and they’re on us. The second goal he’s hiding behind an opposing player and leaves Tymon on the ball with no pass. He’s shit and as I and others said last week, while he’s the managers golden child we will continue to lose games.

It’s his job to see something is happening and change it. He’s awful at it.
