Has to be Bursik for me, if it is he must be told to quicken up his distribution..he is way more commanding than Davies. Should not have been dropped. He should have been dropped for how he’d been performing just as the same should now happen to Davies when he quite rightly should be dropped. Both keepers need to get a grip and wake up to the fact they are required to perform and there are consequences for not doing so. As long as MON remains consistent, neither can argue.

My preferred line up for today:
Bursik (Was replaced after a big mistake against Derby, and because of that Davies should be replaced today as well after his last mistake.)
Østigård (I don't trust Chester!) Souttar Wilmot
Smith Tymon
Allen Sawyers Thompson (Deserves to start)
Surridge (Was impressive after coming on against Bmouth) Brown
Campbell, Fletcher and Vrancic should all be given 25 minutes today if possible.
..................Bursik................... .......Østigård...Souttar....Wilmot.......... Smith........Allen.....Thompson......Tymon ................sawyers.................... .............Brown...Surridge...............

Scrappy 1-0 Millwall win incoming.
The pessimists can also get 15/8 on a Millwall win which seems good value to me.
They’ve lost one in 9 games so Millwall draw no bet also could be one to watch.

I have a feeling he might rest both wing backs today and we might see Duhaney & Doughty, 3 game week so would expect Chester to be rested.

Some people have an agenda with Chester, if you look at the last 3 games, the odd abberation aside, he's been pretty steady.

Wilmot was fantastic second half on Tuesday. To be fair he started all the early matches on the left of the three, which he didn't look comfortable with. He will only get better and develop into a very proficient centre half..

Some people have an agenda with Chester, if you look at the last 3 games, the odd abberation aside, he's been pretty steady. I agree, but he looks very uncomfortable on the ball, and his pass to Clucas in the last game was clearly the wrong choice even though Clucas should have done better. I also feel he is targeted in the air where he has a weakness because of his size, and finally his pace leads to unnecessary situations for us defensively. He is not a bad player, but he still isn't in my preferred 3 or 4 at the back.

Pressure back on O’Neill today. Defeat and that is a run of 8 games of relegation form.
A very poor defeat in Sheffield (who lost at home midweek against today’s opponents). Out classed against Bournemouth but puzzling tactics and substitutions didn’t help.
Apart from the first 5 or 6 games of this season we have been in relegation form for much of the past 11 months.
I might be his biggest critic but I still believe he can turn things around. Hopefully starting with a big victory today.

If they're dropping clangers every week obviously something has to change, but keepers thrive on support and confidence, and uncertainty historically has been a problem at various clubs. Competition is great and you want your number 2 keeper to be capable and pose a threat but not for there to be a question mark over who the number 1 is. It's a tricky balancing act. You can't continue to play a keeper who is not playing well since he got back in. Davies handling of the ball outside his box was totally unnecessary and he escaped it without a bollocking here. As well as his clanger for the goal he wasn't even capable of catching the rebound off our crossbar which almost hit him on the head. I don't think that we have a genuine No. 1 Keeper but I think Bursik is probably the better option. I do as well, I wouldn't have dropped him in the first place.

We’re mostly playing well though and with Campbell & Sima coming back still think we’re good enough for playoffs , just hope with Powell injury MoN doesn’t shit himself and goes all negative again

I think we'll go with Brown up front and pack the midfield with Allen, Thompson, Sawyers and Vranic to start. I can see Campbell and Surridge coming on for last 30 minutes for Brown and Vrancic

I have to say that after a few weeks of relaxed appreciation of Stoke's progress I am back to dreading Saturdays and the next game, as unfortunately I fully expect the team to lose! Why? Two narrow defeats, both of which should have been draws and Millwall are not as good as either of the last two sides we have played Millwall draw a lot so that's likely but Stoke win more likely simply because we are clearly better than them

Still Milwall though and far from being an easy game. A name that still seems to haunt me from the past. Put it down to the natural pessimism and gloomy outlook of the long term Stoke fan.

One thing for certain is with fans back in the stadium it won't be acceptable to just pack up like we did last season after the league Cup exit against Spurs.

No win in London for seven years. No goals or barely a shot on goal in three games at the Den post relegation. Hopeless record against ex managers. Weak as piss in midfield Calamity goalkeeper
2-1 Stoke
