Football has/is going the same way as the rest of society.
Soft as shit.

Being able to replace 50% of your outfield seems too much.
Some people for this and some against, is there anything wrong with compromising on four? We went from none to one to two to three, why are we jumping to five?

Suits those with expensive and expansive squads. After all, its a big 6 final the sponsors are clammering for.

They should allow 5 subs but not stopping the game when introducing them, same as the injuries.

The Carabao cup is being further devalued. It’s needed binning for years.

The Carabao cup is being further devalued. It’s needed binning for years. I don’t agree. It’s not exciting for Championship teams who see no path to potential victory, but when we were pushing for top 10 premier finishes, this was a great trophy for us to aim for. It has never felt as big (to me) as the FA cup, which is the major domestic trophy up for grabs, but it’s still a path to Europe. Yes, you’d be unlikely to face the giants in the Europa Conference, but I’d be surprised if fans would turn their noses up at supporting Stoke by travelling to major European cities to watch them play.

It needs binning or more emphasis on playing young players from teams academies in there so it actually serves a purpose to the English game and the clubs.

TC made a a good point a few weeks ago. It’s the only trophy we have ever won and the only trophy we are likely to win in the future. So we should go all out for it.

Good for us allows us to be flexible against Brentford without tiring players out for the Cardiff game
