Shout out to Elliott Lancaster

[Malcolm Clarke]

Elliott is a Keele student, who, extraordinarily, is in the final shortlist of 10 for the best student in the world ! The (slightly tenuous) Stoke City connection is that Elliott is also a "very good friend" of Nello, which of course in itself doesn't make him special , but he has lived with Nello and continues to give him a lot of support and help. Nothing is too much trouble for him if Nello needs a bit of help. When the Neil Baldwin Football Club played the Parliamentary 11 in London ( an unforgettable and hilarious occasion), Elliott was inside the chicken suit as mascot for NBFC. He appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning ( link below - it's right at the end on 3hrs 7 mins 23 secs) from which you will see that he has also done a lot of other commendable things.

Thanks - I hadn't spotted that the Wrights film was there as well - the whole film is well worth a watch for those who haven't seen it
