Only started going back to away games as I thought I was getting to old for them, and the experience is like chalk and cheese when compared to home games.
Fantastic atmosphere, banter and buzz.
The difference between tonight and Hull was incredible, Stokies in full voice is a thing to behold.
I even hugged a fat stranger after we scored 🤣
Respect to the fans that do this week in week out.
Already looking forward to Sheffield 👏💪🏽

As a result of the difference between the two, my uncle goes more away games than home. One year in the prem, doing all away games, but strangely no home games!

Our following tonight was decent considering the lack of fuel and cash, but I look at Sheff Utd and West Brom, they seem to sell out most away games.

Great support, great voice.
Well done all who made it!!
(Unless the main reason you made it was because you were one of those numpties with a boot full of jerries)

No matter who the team the away support is always better than the home support and it’s always been that way Being at an away game together gives unity and camaraderie. Also there's a sense of a rearguard action in it.

I've actually lost the bug for the away games. Used to go all the time.
Ive got to the point where I enjoy making a day of it for the home games now.
I think they call it growing old gracefully.

Much prefer the atmosphere of away games but the overall cost is off putting.

Changing topic slightly. The club are reporting Fridays home attendance will be the highest of the season so far with 21,000 tickets being sold. Is this including the away support or not !? Around 25,000 would make for a cracking atmosphere.

Around 25,000 would make for a cracking atmosphere. Looking at the website, there appears to be lots of space left so I’m guessing 21,000 sold in total including away fans.

I’ve now managed to bring all my kids to away games, they all loved the experience even though we only drew one. Even the 11 year old loved the standing, singing and atmosphere.
None of them wanted to come to Bournemouth with me and I’m pestered to bring them to away games.
Daughter coming to Millwall with me and really looking forward to it.
If you haven’t been to an away game give it a go, fantastic fans, atmosphere and day out. 👍

Would this be ok or better to get the train? Thanks

That's not to say if you looking for it you won't find any, the pub opposite from London Bridge station is Millwall only but as said above Borough Market is excellent and if we have any Harry Potter fans the scenes from the Leaky Cauldron were filmed there.
