Not sure if anyone’s the same as me, but I would much rather Stoke sack off playing Delilah before kick off and go back to the line ups. ‘We’ll be with you’ is more than enough and Delilah needs to be left to fans to sing when we want to sing it. We've had our best start in 3 decades yet we play negative football.
No cash in the stadium.
Ticket collections.
Now it's delilah before the game that fans initially requested to be played......

Damn! When I saw the title of the thread I thought it was a proposal to scrap Delilah and instead sing a proper traditional song about getting your father's gun and shooting the Vale scum. Unless they start playing that before kick off I will never support Stoke again. And I am unanimous in that!  |

I've got no problem with Delilah being played before kick-off, what gets on my tits a hell of a lot more are the roughly 58,746 half arsed Delilah's that attempt to get sung during each game, they sound shit, stop doing it. Delilah should only be sung at a pivotal moment of a match & needs to come from the Boothen corner so it spreads & everyone is involved. The constant Block 19/South Stand Delilah's are awful.

I've got no problem with Delilah before the game, the thing that bugs me though is they start it at the "wrong" post of the song. It should be the "at break of day part" not the "I saw the light" part. The words don't match with what 90% of the crowd are singing and it sounds shit
