We have to win today to compensate for the dropped points against two really shit teams. Hull are poor so we have to take them to the cleaners, none of this 1-0 then sit back and defend shit, (not sure MON knows how to go for the juggler) Its a must win game if we want to stay with the pack, Bournemouth, Fulham, West Brom, QPR, Coventry and soon to be Sheff Utd, there's your top six if we're not beating the teams we should be. We need to press and press and not settle for one goal so we can put teams like Hull to bed. Should of done it to Barnsley and Derby.

So according to MON you defend by keeping the ball in the modern game. England meanwhile have gone up the rankings but still play two midfield destroyers in Dyer and Phillips but also play the retention of the ball. To me it just shows it depends largely on the players at your disposal. Meant Rice not Dyer

We pressed like mad against Barnsley just failed to convert loads of chances even a penalty. Rather than going for the juggler (?) we need to put these chances away. I think we’ll win 4-1

We are still inconsistent, which will lead to poor goals against Derby and missed chances against Barnsley. Derby game disappointing in that we did not create that may chances so take away the blunder by Bursik we would have drwan at best. This team is still a work in progress and still striving for consistency throughout the team. So No game is a given if you are not 100% on your game - anyone can still beat anyone in this division. I'll be happy with a 1-0 or 2-1 today and every home game

Huge game for the manager. Lose today and he will be back under pressure. After 8 league games, and off the back of a 3-1 away win against premier league opponents? Outrageous

Outrageous Not really, a lot of those games we’ve been very lucky, Huddersfield and Reading included. It was a great result against Watford but let’s be honest, we were lucky and they were just poor in front of goal. They should of battered us with the chances they had.

Love the positivity before a game. I don't usually have time to look at the Oatcake before a match but I don't think I'll bother again. I was feeling quite excited to be going!

Don't understand fans who hate their own team

If Watford were unlucky against us then we were unlucky against Barnsley. There is a long way to go in this season and the team may look quite different by January. Hopefully Wilmot will be playing on the right by then. Fulham are 4th at the moment, so things change all the time. Bournemouth and Fulham should fill the automatic places but I'm sure the Baggies will disagree.

Minimum 7th I'm expecting the play offs now We won't make top two I’m really not sure about that mate. First thing we need is a good run with injuries. The core of the team needs to be fit to play 90% of the games. We also need Campbell to come back firing. Personally I’ve got doubts over Bursik, and the young defence get very little protection from the midfield. I can see good sides beating us easily.

As predictable as Stoke are at bottling under pressure and ballsing up on obvious banana skins (Barnsley and Derby being the most recent examples) I fully expect a nice win today.
2-0 or 3-0 I reckon.

So much for today’s game. Had to turn back halfway with not enough fuel in the tank to get there and back. Every filling station between Lincoln and Nottingham closed or not selling fuel. Couldn’t take the risk of trying to cross the A50 with only 40 miles worth of fuel left and probably nowhere to fill up. Cheers to all the stockpilers.

I can’t understand all the negativity due to our good start to the season? Most games in this division are tight, so to expect us to play teams off the park is an unrealistic wish as I see it. Have faith and enjoy the ride, and may it last the whole season as well! 👍
