Ince
Yes I know he scored but he should have been on the end of that delicious Tymon cross (would’ve put us 1 up) and then later in the game he missed the target.
Asleep from Bursik throw leading to their first.
Didn’t make a challenge.
He hides.
His body language… has a negative effect on those around him.

Thought he was an absolute shambles in the first half slightly less so in the second.
I like MON but for me starting Ince in any position never mind RWB is poor management

No idea why he never tries to take his man on, instead turns back inside and plays it back!

Ince is the most frustrating, pointless signing we've ever made. The ability is there, the nous and will to use it most definitely isn't.

Someone🤔 will be along shortly with a load of stats from his time at Derby and Blackpool. Which makes his time with us all the more frustrating. I don’t even think he’d be a success in somewhere like Scotland or MLS.

I agree, I'd prefer to give an ' out of position' Doughty a go.

As I said yesterday I was amazed that Ince was picked as a wing back for an away game at Derby, the team was totally unbalanced with that choice and sadly the manager in my opinion got that selection totally wrong

Considering he was played out of position I thought he wasn't too bad, hasn't he scored every time he's played there for us? Yes he wasn't as good as Smith this season but he's another brown and Allen who get abuse and people don't like them for some reason. Wilmot was ALOT worse than Ince yet I've not seen a single thread about his performance.

It’s mind boggling. He is garbage defensively, very negative and easy to read. Literally I don’t see any pros to even attempt playing him, in that position more so than anywhere on the pitch.

Wilmot was ALOT worse than Ince yet I've not seen a single thread about his performance. Sorry to disagree about him being played out of position. What exactly is his position? Certainly not an effective right winger, or right sided midfield player, or striker. As regards him playing right wing back yesterday, that is part of the problem, he didn't. Doesn't defend and by turning inside and backwards every time he gets the ball going forward, he slows down every attack he's involved in. There are loads of threads on this guy, none positive from memory, and bottom line, for me, the sooner he leaves the better. Awful player for Stoke. He needs another new challenge elsewhere to go with the many he's had to date. Never stays anywhere long. Why? Not the worst yesterday, as you said but that's not really any recommendation.

I’d of subbed him off the minute Bursik threw the ball to him and he turned his back on him.
Soon as I heard he was playing I knew we would lose.

A mate of mine who went yesterday summed up Ince in one word....fraud
Just doesn't look interested & doesn't want to be a footballer

Yes Ince scored. ‘ the lazy bustard ‘ as he was called’ by those around me is not a right wing back. derby targeted him first half. I agree he is very predictable but lay off him. It does NO good to abuse players.
He is a Stoke player until at least January so support him if al all possible.
MON played hi.m out of position!

His appearance is why we have lost some momentum. First few games seemed like we had turned a corner and losing that boring and ineffective sideways/backward passing getting nowhere but having loads of pointless possession. Then Ince gets back into the team due to injuries and we’re back to last season going nowhere again.

Absolutely boiled my piss yesterday

Thought he was the least of our problems yesterday.
Doesn't matter who he played in that position, as all the problems came from the ponderous ineffective midfield, coupled with calamity jane in goal an his sidekick Wilmott who i thought was abysmal

He really does look like that he hates playing football. Clearly talented, clearly couldn't give a shit.

Only a madman plays him as a right wing back. Coaching staff had a tough problem once Smith was red carded. Who else was going there? We expect a modicum of effort from any player: watching the ball is a precept drilled in to anyone from a young age in any moving ball game. His failure in that led directly to the first goal which effectively changed the game.

He should not even be on the bench in case MON is tempted to put him in. In fact it would be better to start with 10 because when he's in it's the equivalent of playing with 9.

Exactly, fail to understand why MON has any faith in him whatsoever. As another poster said earlier he 'plays' like he wants to be somewhere else.

Duhaney should have been played, that’s without hindsight too.
He’d have to be really shit to be worse than Ince, if that’s the case, why did we give him a deal even if it was only a short term one.
