Slight surprises Powell didn't walk into the team (which is a good thing really keeps everyone on their toes) Brown getting dropped (he's probably knackered) Sima starting (conspiracy theories anyone...) Ince at RWB - that is brave Powder puff midfield consisting of 3 x 8s Positives we are just going to score more goals than them....... Got to be a lot of goals in that team Bench is scary good in the attacking areas Goaannn Stoke Sima ought to be ripping Jagielka and Curtis Davis new arseholes with a combined age of 75 years. will be an interesting battle between the nouse of Curtis and Jag vs Sima/Surridge (who are both still an unknown quantity). Both very good defenders in their day have they still got it? I have no idea.

Wonder if he’s gone with Ince at Rwb because he played there in the cup, did alright and scored and the idea is to actually bring on Duhaney for the second half?
Perhaps Duhaney hasn’t quite convinced he’s ready or questionable for the responsibility for the whole game so stick in a player who at least knows the other lads and more experience with the hope that if it’s all well we can include him in.
Clucas in midfield though 😔

Clucas seems logical as Allen is injured. Brave to start Sima, maybe he's been class in training but I felt Brown was playing well. Ince will be interesting, I said I was shit scared about the lack of cover on at right wing back and now we have an inverted winger playing there. Believe Brown might have played the role for Barnsley and was hoping we might try him there really... I would have played Sima instead of Surridge and kept Brown for his pace Brown has pace but he’s pretty wank, interesting see how Sima goes.

I have had to delete my response to you, as I don't want a ban. Your post is despicable. Pfffft, hoping for one of our own to be injured? Lost for words. It’s tongue in cheek So post what you like Allen today would slow us down I do t want any of our players injured now matter how shit I think they are And I know he’s stubbed his toe so it’s not bad

It probably won't be Clucas as the holder. All three of those players are number 8s. Yep, we don't really have any other apart from maybe Thompson who isn't really anything

It was a fucking mess of a team selection and we're paying the piper now! No holding mid and no right wing back meant it's been so, so easy just to run at us.

Sometimes I wonder why we don't go 4 4 2 for away games, especially minus Smith just two banks of four for 60 mins.

id agree he is a better number 8, he wants to play number 8, but I think Oniel sees him as a DLP. I think the first half has proved you right. I think the idea will be player sawyers as a DLP., in the pivot role. Has he ever really impressed in that role though? He looked better higher up in the week I thought. We really need a bit of physical presence in the middle.

Clucas and lnce together on the right.... really !! Two of the biggest bottlers on the pitch, Brown should start away games, for his energy and pressing,Sima is not that type of player, poor team selection once again by O'Neill.

Personally, I think we missed him today. Possibly yes But again on Wednesday he gave away the free kick that they scored from and does that A lot and silly little back passes. I do like Allen but only when he plays an advanced role
